1:10 雨の中ひとり佇む恵美。隣に現れたのは少し照れくさそうな魔王、恵美の方に傾いた傘、雨が止んで笑顔になる恵美の流れで泣きそうになった。十年前の描写との違いよ… 歌詞や映像も恵美そのもので…めちゃくちゃ良いop 力も立場も圧倒的すぎるが故に唯一恵美の隣に対等に立てるのは、皮肉なことに宿敵の魔王なんだよな

This opening tells a lot about Emilia's current mental state. After hearing from Gabriel that her father was alive which I can only guess later finding out the archangel was true to his word, her motivations for being a hero and slaying Satan was shattered which can be shown by how she is running away from her past self and her comrades as she was beginning to feel haunted and burdened by her alias as a hero after having lost her purpose. The ending of the op where Maou covers Emi with his umbrella from the rain could be showing Emi's change of behavior towards her former sworn enemy where she would have rejected the kind gesture she now thanks him for it. The person she once saw a sworn enemy she now begins to see as a friend. As for the rest of the opening, the season covers more of events among the heavens that transpired that began everything else.

beautiful animation and there is so much emotion. you can almost feel emilia screaming "otou-saan..!!" in the beginning. they also took the time to present each character perfectly..that scene with lucifer's falling ✨👌🏼. you can tell they put a lot of work into this. i love it. TwT i'm soo glad i didnt kill myself yet to see this anime get yet another new season. fav anime ever

All the openings of the devil is a part timer are always amazing so far. This op become my favourite. Before this season 1 op was my favourite beautiful song amazing visuals Maou and Emilia past glimpses 😢😢 what else can say and the final scene holding umbrella for emi and her Genuine smile it stole my heart ❤. I wish it Gets complete adaptation if not at least few more seasons. This op feels like specially made for Emilia like they did for chiho ( ending song of previous season and season 1 Ed ).

i doubt we will get season 3, but even if we do would not want to watch that much knowing the ending of the series. I mean there can be an anime original ending, but for me the author already wrote what he did, there is no going back. Oh well still like and recommend the anime though but not the novel and season 2, the amount the skips and flashblack they did, why even bother adapting.. -_- the only good thing that came out of season 2 was the Opening song.
