I really like how the idea of "I can scream but it won't help" runs throughout the song. You expect the rough vocals, but they are kept in the background. It brings over so much supressed frustration and it's giving me chills.

@ensco72 жыл бұрын
@@brandonthornsbury3672 What if I told you that for some people, it's only logical that they're having an overdose of this chemical. For them, taking meds to suppress it is only lying about the real circumstances. I know there are tons of people that have those circumstances, some of them seemingly still seeing the bright side of things (and idk how but I'm also not in their shoes), and others seemingly don't and they're just existing and not living, and I think the only reason those people are holding on is that they don't want to be an even bigger burden to close people (assuming they have any), if they off'd themselves. So it's not only a chemical for many people, and the song actually doesn't necessarily disagree. They could be just saying that to themselves to make it seem better when in reality there are tons of reasons that justify having the chemical. Not to take anything away from the experience people have who are suffering even though everything else seems to be fine for them.

@cadebrown2092 Жыл бұрын
@O A I interpret it from a lived experience. Depression can make you think about death or your own death a lot. So it can be comforting when those who try to encourage you or try to make you see past your mistakes/regret reach out from a different perspective. The part where he says, "There's still times I want to break everything I've ever made" implies that even though we get better with counseling/medication, we still have our moments when we just get low and hate ourselves or deal with shame. You hit a point mentally speaking where you don't care about any accomplishment you've done, all you can think about is what you aren't. You don't care about yourself, so you don't care about anything you've ever created. I'm sure I butchered it, but that's how I relate/interpret the lyrics.

Waking up each day to a meaningless life just to repeat the same things over and over and feel like shit every day. I love that more artists are talking about this in their music. Yet, I know that I am no alone, and it helps because it lets me know that if others have gotten past this, then so can I. 🇲🇽🇲🇽Chavos para mí cada pista del álbum es una bomba, los cambios de ritmo y los rifts acompañados de esas dos grandes voces son grandiosos. Long live TDWP

Normally I'm not a fan of when my favorite metalcore bands go softer, but this was done really well.

I had some doubts when I first hear this album cause it's not heavy. But when I take a listen closely, it was really good and in mood stuff.

This has real potential to become an anthem, I don't know why it hasn't blown up yet!
