"Chainsaw Brutality, Tornado Strength." Unless I'm mistaken, old Crabcore TDWP had terrible lyrics but catchy riffs and breakdowns.

@sethsandoval4539 3 жыл бұрын
@@Vinnay94 with all due respect the song you're referring to is from their very first album. For a lack of a better term they were just kids anywhere from 17-19 years old. With dead throne, 8:18, transit blues, the act and now the few eps and singles they've released since then. They have definitely grown more introspective than what they've shown in dear love.

@@sethsandoval4539 I'm not saying there newer stuff has terrible lyrics, only there old stuff. The thing is, I don't focus too much on lyrics but rather riffs, vocals and the way the lyrics are chained.

I've been listening to TDWP since Dear Love. Every album since Plagues has taken some time for me to get used to, but in the end I've come to realize that they just keep getting better and better. Even when When Roots Above and Branches Below came out I was skeptical. But like I said, it just took me a little time to hear what they were trying to do and the image they were trying to portray before I could understand that they are maturing and putting out great music in each album. I agree that TDWP is nothing like it was back in 2006, and thank god for that! I LOVE Plagues, but I'm happy that they haven't bee trying to recreate that success every time they put a new song out, because then I never would have been able to hear great songs like "Mammoth," "Wapakalypse," 8:18," "Martyrs," and "War". In all honesty, I don't listen to much hardcore music anymore. But I'm ALWAYS watching and waiting for great bands like ABR, BMTH, ADTR, and TDWP to come out with new material. I'm really looking forward to their new album. I have no doubt in my mind that it will be fucking sick. TDWP fan forever! Keep making great music, guys.

I was 17 when i first heard of them when "With Roots Above and Branches Below" came out. Then got into "Dear Love" and "Plagues" and "Zombie EP". When "Dead Throne" came out, i was kinda skeptical cause i don't hear no 'lower' low vocals but it grew on me in about two or three weeks and i love it. Then along came "8:18" and i always love it alot because i hear raw vocals. Since then, TDWP has been one of my favorite bands that got me into this kind of music.

Mike's screaming is an acquired taste. When I first tried to listen to TDWP, I hated their screamer so much. When I discovered Louder Than Thunder and realized their singer was great, I tolerated the screams to listen to the cleans. After a while of listening to the music, you come to appreciate the passion and power and uniqueness the screams have, and they become as good to listen to as the cleans dude ^_^

I won't let this ruin me. My orchestra, my indecision, It all comes back full circle (from grace to all my hate). I never meant to hurt anyone (anyone) I came for peace, and for great reason. There is no solace, there's no alleviation in all our money, Or within her golden teeth. Is this it? Is this how it goes? I am the wretched one, I am the beggar's hands. It comes back full circle. I cannot help but feel nothing. Pick it up, oh, Such a bitter friend, change can be. Remind me God, refresh what's turned to gray. Oh my intentions, you vanish with the wind. Is this it? Is this how it goes? I am the wretched one, I am the harlot's bones. It comes back full circle. I cannot help but care no more. Is this it, is this how it goes? It all comes back full circle. It comes back full circle. I cannot help but feel nothing. All that you know I am all that you know. He had a vision as to what comes next, So disregard this unholy place.

He used to know how....not anymore...well not since Zombie EP anyways. It's the single reason I've stopped listening to them. This was my attempt to give it another shot. NOPE. His voice is still terrible.

Just because he doesn't have a generic sound to his vocals doesn't mean that he doesn't know how to scream. His screams are on point. They're different and they have much more emotion than a prototypical shitcore vocalist.

Andrew Martinez Correction: He used to know how to scream. He clearly can't anymore.

The Devil Wears Prada never gets old and they never changed with the media on them. They are always great! :') If anything I like their newer stuff more, it's a lot more heavy.
