When I first heard this song it was on Batman Forever Album. Since my mother lost her battle with cancer I aquant it with her memory and the river that divides life from death. I know one day I'll cross the river and see her again.

Same. Years after the movies release, I was listening to U2 tracks on a playlist and Hold me, Kiss me, Thrill me, Kill me started playing. My mind absolutely exploded. I had no idea that U2 performed that song - I couldn’t believe that I had loved both projects and so many years had passed not realizing they were one in the same 🤣

I never understood why Devlins were so underrated and eventually fell out of favor. Most of their songs are really good. Vocals are clear an nice to listen. Guitar work was great.

I love this song. While I think they are a good band in general, their other tracks don't even come close to this one. This is by far their best song.. It's melodic, soaring, catchy and melancholic all in one, I especially like the piano in the chorus. It's a damn shame that they didn't write more tracks like this..
