The DH.94 Moth Minor: Geoffrey de Havilland's Monoplane Trainer

At Justwingit I like to feature the old school, scratch builders and their unique model aircraft. This video features world-class and longtime scratch builder Keith Hedge and his very unique and great flying model of a seldom seen de Havilland Moth Minor. This plane was so little produced that I actually had to look this one up!

Great plane! Yellow is always excellent for visibility. The design of this plane reminds me of the PT-19.

The Moth Minor is much more well-known on the starboard side of the pond. She's a nice subject for a first scale project. Although, I didn't know she was flown solo from the front seat? Is that right?

For sure Richard, much more well known in the UK and Commonwealth.
