I miss this show, the last days when MTV focused on musicians and played videos. They should get back to music and videos now they are just this corporate reality show channel.

Mike's vocal fry was so bad back then! It used to bug me before there was a name for it. Idk if he naturally spoke that way or of his voice was shot from backup singing on tour or he was sick or what.

you sure? i heard he wasn't into the softer direction the music was heading in. plus he wanted to party hard and the rest of the guys wanted to mellow out

@@pillarsofserpentsWasn’t into the softer direction? A Crow Left of the Murder was one of their most energetic and experimental albums…
@dvda9725 Жыл бұрын
@@KickflipGnastyYou know that isn't true.
@KickflipGnasty Жыл бұрын
@@dvda9725 No I stand by that. If you disagree that’s fine but “Pistola”, “Priceless”, “Sick Sad Little World”, “Megalomaniac”, “Zee Deveel”. Go and listen to any one of those and it’s pretty obvious it’s one of their more manic /experimental albums. I’m not the only one who thinks that album is one of their most ambitious. Mind you I’m not saying it’s better than Make Yourself, Morning View or Science. But I believe it’s not far behind.
@dvda9725 Жыл бұрын
@@KickflipGnasty I'm not saying it's not ambitious, and I don't dislike it, in fact I absolutely *love* songs like Agoraphobia, Talk Shows on Mute, Made for TV Movie, but to say it's one of their *most* energetic in comparison to what came before is just silly.
