As a Swede i can definitely relate to what Todd is saying, and he is spot on. It's almost like Europe is seen as one country though, and if you're going to Spain, Croatia or whatever more to the south, girls will behave differently. Sweden is an extreme example.

Spain & Portugal are the reason latino culture is the way it is, they're the ones who brought "warmth" attitude to the new continent. So yeah expect the Spain/Portugal to be filled with warmth, high-volume speech and outgoing attitudes as opposed to scandinavian people who CAN DEFINTIIVELY be loud and outgoing, but only when they truly trust you.

Adding to this, I have a theory that girls in more dangerous places, like Brazil, value mostly the characteristics of a leader who can protect them. This may sound gerenic, but being strong in both body and mind, and socially savvy is extremely effective in such places. If you show you can handle the world, she will assume you can handle her too.

Being a guy from Sweden (and I'm successful and rich), I agree with a lot of what you're saying. Swedish girls like confident guys, but bragging about your status, money or otherwise does seem more like you're insecure and trying to overcompensate for something according to a lot of Swedish girls (and guys). American culture is a lot about "the bigger, the better", which you see in everything from cars etc, but it is seen as insecurity here. It's better to have nice and well thought through things that show intelligence here, rather than just "big" things. You mentioned some general things about being an attractive guy in all cultures - I agree with many of them, but I think one thing that Americans tend to misunderstand is that being "loud" is a really good thing in all cultures (in America you are seen as insecure if you're not loud). Swedish girls again want you to show confidence in what you do, not be afraid to walk up to them etc, but being "loud" is seen as insecure here (like you're trying to overcompensate for other things), trying to scream for attention (a secure and confident guy don't need to do that) and generally annoying. Swedish girls prefer guys that are "down to earth".

Trust me most legit average US girls agree with you. I'm from the US and most of us normal women think that a cocky guy comes off as a desperate jerk. It's not attractive at all and it screams insecurity. Our concentrated culture from places like Hollywood, Vegas and NY City is what is portrayed in media but isn't how we really are in all the rest of the country. We like a normal confident guy who is humble just as much as you guys do 😉👍🏼

I'm French, I'd like to add something else: I've visited the USA several times and I must say first contact with girls from your country was way easier than what I'm used to in Paris. I've come to the conclusion that the myth of the french lover comes from a cultural difference that has nothing to do with seduction: it's way more difficult to break the ice and make first contact with european girls, especially in big cities such as Paris. Thus, french dudes like me tend to misread girls in the US because they are easier to talk to and in France this is the girls' "first line of defense/bullshit" that's the hardest part. A French guy who's just talks a few minutes to an American girl may be kinda bolder than the average aAmerican dude because he thinks he's almost there, and maybe that's what makes a difference: the girl is just being polite but he's thinkin "I've already won." , just because in France that's the way it works: in Paris a girl can be very rude if you try to approach her the wrong way, but if you can make her stop for a moment and get her number, it's already a huge step, whereas in your country, it doesn't mean anything: people a just way more polite and easier to talk to.

@steven cellugi I'm french. That doesn't matter really. Paris is Paris. It is its own thing, like Vegas for instance. The city has its own culture. It's different from the rest of the country, let alone the world. Probably one of the most self-centered cities in the world, and that influences the way people live and interact with others. A small minority of people in Paris are born and raised there. Most people in Paris are french citizens (doesn't matter the background) who came here for work/college, or foreigners that became french, want to, or are here for a few years for work/college. As long as you've lived more than 2/3 years in Paris, you get the culture, the way of life, the habits, the social dynamics, the idea. It does not matter how long you lived there (in terms of "are you "traditional" or "modern" Parisian, whatever that means). Nobody there think in these terms, apart maybe from a very rare, dumb, arrogant, self-centered "elite" (at least that's how they view themselves) of "pure Parisians" that live in their own bubble. You probably won't encounter them. And you don't want to deal with these anyway. The longer you've been there, the easier it is to "get it" though. The "street scene" can very harsh, wild, dirty. People subconsciously see it as a "war zone" kinda, girls especially. Cold approaching in the streets is difficult, not well-received at all. People are aggressive, girls are on the defensive. Bars, cafes, social gatherings are much better. As a culture, the french, (and other Europeans), are way more into Arts on average than most other countries. It's a cultural thing, you're surrounded by Art everywhere, it influences the way we're taught at school from a very young age. It's been at the center of our culture for centuries. So I personally find more people are interested in Art, and have opinions and knowledge to share. If you're into art, you'll probably find more people, and, by extension, more girls, interesting, especially in big West European Cities (Rome, Madrid, London, Berlin, Paris, Bordeaux, etc).

Very true when it comes to Scandinavian/Nordic dating (and maybe Germany/Austria/Switzerland to an extent). Great explanation! I would only change the name of the video from "European" to "Scandinavian" because Italian and Portuguese girls, as an example (and I'm not even getting into Central/Eastern Europe) are very different and status tends to matter a lot more. What is the point in this. Women across the world mainly just want your attention, dk and or money. So you study all these techniques, spend hours and hours of time dating women, all to get one in bed. I knew guys like that in high school, they're all married living in the suburbs with now chubby wives, dogs, cats, lots of children, the women quit working or work few hours, they earn good incomes but are up to their eyeballs in debt for her lifestyle. Guys who put this much effort in trying to get women are ridiculous. If you truly understood women you would not give them much of your attention.

As for rape, the legal term has been broadened, which makes it easier to get a conviction which increase the rape statistic. If you had the same legal terms for rape in other countries their statistics would increase as well. Besides it’s in the interest of conservatives to have the picture of sweden as a failing country to scare voters into voting for them because socialism shouldn’t work in their opinion. Read up about things before you speak. With that said I’m relatively conservative my self, going to the middle though.

Guy grows up. He's nice, shy, and treats each woman like a queen. He's constantly rejected and friend zoned. Meanwhile he sees his romantic interests hook up with the "sleezy guy" women say they hate. He goes to women and they say how he should keep doing the same thing that's not working. Then he hears them complain about the jerk that didn't call them back. Guy is sad and confused. He finds a channel where he sees how to become confident, assertive, charming and put his needs first. Attractive women notice him now. He has options. He is happy. Now he can choose who he gives his time to. He dates and sleeps around. Calling back the ones he likes. Gets called a sleeze ball by butt hurt(literally) women who still drop nice guy bf, husband, friend-zone chump to be with him. ... And yet. Some women say to ignore biology, evolution, results and go back to being a nice guy. Because it's better? Christ I love this world

I mean think about it; we literally have to kill and eat other creatures to survive. Can anyone truly be expected to be "good" in a world like that? We can certainly try, but what tends to happen is instead of actually becoming a "good" person, we just unconsciously hide all the things about ourselves that are bad. I have lived in Norway for nearly two years, after living in the U.K. for the majority of my life. Moving was the best thing I ever did. However, I had to completely re-calibrate myself especially when it comes to girls. Escalation is very different here, the dating model is VERY different here and frequently, indeed rather delightfully, the girls will make the first move on you as far as making out or whatever. Getting laid is a lot easier, however finding a partner is a lot harder. In most of the U.K. there is a lot of poverty and social insecurity, so people tend to jump into relationships very quickly. In Norway that doesn't exist on anywhere near the same scale, so consequently hookup culture is openly mainstream but people stay single a lot longer.

This explains why I'm happier, and more successful with European women. I am not European. My parents were born in Colombia, and I was born in the U.S. Being a pharmacist (doctoral degree) is not celebrity status, but it does attract a certain type of American woman. I am sometimes actually pursued by American women, though for superficial reasons. European women seem to like you for who you are on a deeper level, not what you are or your status...generally speaking of course.

I was raised in North America, but my parents were European. It may be their values, but I fall in line more with the European observations. Status did nothing for me (putting out such a materialistic expression, to me, was a sign he had nothing of substance to offer internally). I had men in porsches who worked for Pharma companies coming onto me, literally telling me how amazing he was...and it wasn't attractive at all. It actually made me lose any interest I may have had. I didn't care at all. He seemed shallow and hollow. He couldn't hold a conversation outside himself, and that was so gross. I wanted an interesting man who had hobbies and intelligence. A man who was protective, but wasn't running into a fight. I like the man who stops the fight, not wins the fight. I dressed very elaborate (I was a model at the time), but I wanted the comfort man lol. I was raised to dress elegantly and proudly when leaving the house (leaving in your pjs in our house was a huuuuuge NO, it did not happen). But a lot of those men who weren't interested in material things would assume I was a material based person because of my dress, but that was not the case at all. It was just how I was raised--absolutely no slouchy wear 😂

Dropping new content at this time is purely GOLD . I love the topic, super fresh and very valuable. Game is not the same everywhere, these small details that you talk in the video makes a huge difference . ( specially when u are meeting a girl for the first time and she has 0 info on you, anything u do that turn her off can screw things up). To contribute with the topic i'm gonna talk about my city... in my city i noticed that girls are much more closed off with strangers, it's a big city but with very few tourists. I've traveled the world to cities with tourists and i noticed that girls are MUCH more receptive at this places, i've got many insta dates with girls at these cities. I'm my city i struggle with that thing ... people much more closed off... insta dates rare, girls are much more worried about comfort . ( all dates that i manifested i had to build lots of comfort before going out)

Completely agree with what you said and I'm happy to see a traditional pickup artist actually bring these nuances up because the majority of "others" will tell you "girls are all the same everywhere man, it's all in your head" which is total bullshit, and in my opinion, just exposes how little those guys actually know and understand about game. I lived in Latin American for a year, and although there is an abundance of beautiful women there and it's easier to get laid than the U.S as an American guy (assuming you know some of the language), the cookie cutter push-pull, high-intensity, rsd style interactions don't do well there at all. The majority of 1st gen Latinas don't understand western sarcasm, and they think that negging a girl is just plain offensive. Light teasing is ok sprinkled in here and there, but the shit you can get away with in the states does not work at all; in fact most girls think it is weak and socially weird. Once I realized that, my results went through the roof. They are definitely more on the comfort end of the spectrum, similar to European girls.

I live near the border and Mexican girls are the same as how you describe European girls. They immediately acknowledge sexual tension, it's assumed to be there, and basically strong connection alone can close. I don't think it's because of socialism in that case. I think Mexican culture just values family, friends, spirit, and emotions more.

Great video, Todd!! I am European and based in Europe. What you said totally resonates with my experience with Western European and American girls, which is rather limited in comparison with yours. I would be interested to hear your take on high self-esteem vs. low self-esteem women. I think that is very important thing to be aware of, screen for and it is rarely given as much space, ink and time in the PUA community as I think it should. In my observation and experience, it can make a huge difference between a good relationship (serious, fuckbuddy or whatever) and a hectic one. What is more, I bet most of us would really like to know how to screen for a potentially psychotic girlfriend but don't really have a super clear idea on how to do that.

From my experience, and what you're saying about Americans and Europeans, British girls are a totally crazy mix of both. Whenever I've gotten to a point with a girl where I'm starting to create sexual tension, they're either super on-board, or will just kill it dead and the whole thing just fizzles out. You ever spend any time in the UK?

Thanks Todd! I live in Greece and it's more like the Swedish culture for sure. Here, one of the challenges is making them feel secure and paying attention to the surrounding area for other males or females who play the protectors. Another thing is being too boisterous can be a real turn off. Everyone knows everyone, and because of the bar set up it's more relaxed. Though it's easier to become friends with someone, pulling them and kissing them on the fly is not recommended. There is always exception. Women here are well dressed get attracted by money. Because of the the on going economic crisis there could be unforseen factors. (which I'm calberating for)

They’re actually pretty similar. The reason women chase the high value guy in America is because he has this assumed level of stability. European women chase a man whose “been at the same company for years” as Todd puts it is for the same reason: Stability. Women across the board just want someone who makes them feel secure. There’s just different ways of approaching it depending on where you live

I'm Norwegian and everything he says in this video is true. It really speaks to his skill to figure that all out over the course of a few days and adapt in such a way. What a lot of people over here like to say when talking about the cultural differences between Scandinavians and Americans. Is that Americans like to sell themselves and brag, make everything seem grand etc. Or that they think they're better/more valuable than others. Where as all Scandinavians are considered equal (even celebreties are to a great extent). In fact many are repulsed by that American stereotype I just explained. Now how accurate the stereotype is doesn't really matter, but it goes to show the difference in values and what the general population find attractive or obnoxious/unnatractive. As a side note a friend of mine in High school was born and lived a bit in Miami, and he had very high value, confidence to the point of arrogance and he attracted many girls in my high school. I remember one girl telling me that when he just asked her to borrow her charger it got her wet and turned her on in class. That always interested me and it goes to show that opposite of tging can indeed still work if done right. Ironicly, despite growing up in Norway, I first started getting laid over in the U.S. (California).

Looks, being nice, modesty was gold there. I'm not alpha male at all. Gorgeous, tall, slim, shy, nymphos everywhere. They REALLY like handsome Americans. Or somebody different. I know that many women value a man who is financially well off but I'll tell you this, I have NEVER heard a woman explicitly state her preference for a financially well off man like black women. I remember one time I was at a mall and I overheard these black girls talking. Keep in mind that they were in a group with what appeared to be close friends so I have to assume that they're were being very candid and honest in their discussion. This black girl was talking about how exited she was about this man she met, at one point she literally said "ooohh that nigga got an Audi coupe" she was so exited like she just caught a trophy fish. I was honestly shocked because I've never heard a woman be so blunt about it. I want to be clear though that getting rich won't get you laid. If you learn how to leverage it in the right way it can help but there are plenty of nerdy rich guys who get no pussy. You still need game.

you can meet any type of girl anywhere basically but in general you are right. Americans are similar to Australians, Canadians and NZs. Europeans are the opposite (maybe UK is different). Thats a huge generalisation but overall on average that's right. And it's not only about girls. Guys are also different. I'm from Europe and I've noticed in general people from those US, AU, CA and NZ are much less interested in a meaningful interaction like making real friends, getting to know someone. But they are much nicer and welcoming on the surface than Europeans, which may be deceiving.
