In this video you talked about the differences between evangelism and discipleship. You looked at Matt. 28:16-20. You went over their similarities. You also went over their differences like the audience, goal, message, and office.

Do you mean in terms of the office of an evangelist and a discipleship minister? If that's the case, I like to think of them under the concept of disciplemaking. Disciplemaking is both evangelism and discipleship. Evangelism reaches out and brings a person to faith and discipleship teaches them the ways of the Lord. Jesus' command to his disciples in Matthew 28:18-20 was, "go and make disciples." That involes both. The apostle Paul was a missionary/evangelist most of the time. But he also remained at some places and pastored and discipled people there. When he frequently teaches and tells people in his letters to "follow me as i follow Christ," that is discipleship, not evangelism. I advise that every Christian should learn to do both but understand that some people have more calling to missionary work than to pastoring in a local church. I hope that helps.

You talked about the difference between evangelism and discipleship; you explained the difference by looking at different parts of both.
