i found wild haskap or honeey berries that grow along a spring brook up in the woods from my house. although not documented in my province i found out they were called mountain honey suckles i think thats what i remember them being called. definitely a small population and only grows right beside the spring brook

That's awesome! I'd love to find some wild ones to add into the gardens around here! Mountain honey suckle, I'll have to remember that. Thanks!

That is the English translation of the Russian name...

I have a couple honey berry bushes. Never heard of Haskap. I've found there's many different varieties of honey berries and some grow taller than others. I selected varieties that stay pretty small.

Trollforge was saying that haskap may be a marketing thing but that's how these two were labeled so ... that's what I go with! 😀

Good update from the last video JT ... I was curious about the differences and good to know the honey need about twice the real estate in the size of their bush ;)

Well, according to the ones I have growing here anyway! Gonna talk to the post mistress about rooted cuttings but it looks like there are a couple of gooseberries and a honeyberry for sure, if your interested! 😉

@@JTBear That would be fantastic JT ... I have my two fruit trees (that fingers crossed will give me something 3-4 years after planting) but have been wanting to add some berry bushes other than my Nanking. I am interested my friend and thank-you and happy to pay for any expense to get them here too 😁
