You missed mine out!! Lol the vxr vx racing edition. You got to have that in there it was produced to celebrate the BTCC success and I believe they did 888 in total of the corsa and the Astra 444 of each I believe.

I’ve got a Corsa E VXR & love it! Not as common as Fiesta ST’s and for me look a lot better inside and out! Deffo recommend a splitter kit for the looks

I have a 17plate one and paid 10k for it 18montn ago and price still holding at 10k so I'm happy. And the seats IMO are the best on any hot hatch, and I must admit the bright green paint was eye catching as well lol.

Nice overview of history. I thought the club sport came in a limited number also and had 2-3 bhp more. Would be good if you went through some of the external things as well, maybe even how many colours they did etc. Personally thing the vxr D is the better looking one centre exhaust and the air vents in the arches. Definetly more masculine , vxr E just seems a bit watered down. Great video!!!!

I have the BURG way better than the others however I did have a piston 4 which was a shock however thankfully warranty saved my life

Clubsports have a B16, believe they were done as a testbed for the corsa E, vx head office say thay there were 246 (cs) built.

Although the artic is 189 as standard the remus was meant to add upto 15hp gain. Weather it does or does not i wouldnt know. Will have to get my standard one on the dyno and see 👀

Does the E suffer the same problem as the D regarding the rear bumper rubbing on the arch causing rust?

The Corsa VXR Blue Edition is basically an extra Option for the Opel OPC models. I know that because I own a 2007 Opel Corsa OPC with the lue RIngs/Seat Extras and it never came with "Blue Edition" Stickers

I’ve got a 1.3 Corsa D. Pulls like a train but the body is shot. What’s a reasonable price to expect to pay for a clean VXR or 1.7 CDTi? I mean one that isn’t rusted on the arches/sills. Love the way mine drives but it’s not far off the end of its service life and I want another but I’m not expecting to find a clean 1.3 😓 I at least know mostly what to look for but I don’t wanna get ripped off when the time comes. Is it even possible to find a truly decent one for less than 4k? I prefer the pre face lift’s styling but can always tweak a face lifted one if need be. Any information would be appreciated.

@@Yodaracing1 thanks. People think I’m insane looking to buy another but i can’t really fault mine. Was really after one with minimal modifications. Don’t have any plans for serious tuning either aside from the cylinder head/intake manifold and an exhaust or something. I realised it’s just too expensive going into huge engine upgrades on a car that’s already got quite a bit of miles on it. I just love the way they drive and how they look. Sad it’s hard to find one that isn’t a rust bucket now. It’s worse because I live in a really remote area and finding any sort of replacement for what I’ve got already will be tough. Still I’m glad to hear it’s not impossible to make a childhood dream a reality. Been crazy about old Vauxhalls ever since an Astra MK5 overtook my family back in like 2006 or something - it looked so good in my opinion. The hate these cars get makes it even funnier because people underestimate them =)

The clubsport. If optioned with full leather interior comes with white stitching throughout the car compared to the standard black stitching on the other Corsa’s although not stated by Vauxhall themselves the dyno at 209bhp compared to the 204bhp of the Nurburgring due to the Remus backbox. Only 264 cars were made and came in 4 colour options

The remus exhaust on the artic is claimed to up the power too 204bhp. My artic says 204bhp on the log book but never been on a dyno so 🤷‍♂️

I’ve had mine since October 2018, only issue was the gearbox that was rebuilt and nothing else was wrong with it, still going strong now

You forgot the vxracing edition and the vxr-r, the corsa vxr-r was done by thorney motorsport they had 250bhp surposely done by thorney motorsport and only came in black with red and green stripes at the side and came with team dynamics pro race 1.2 with the green outline with ap callipers, it also had a quaife diff installed and the price brand new was £22,495 it’s very rare more rare than the vxracing edition

Recently got myself an arctic edition, it was about 5k and only on 49k miles. It could be remapped so im worried its got a map on stock pistons 😂

Best way to find out would be to take it to a tuner and get them to data log it to see if the file on the ecu is stock good investment though as there aren’t many arctics about now
