Making the difference: The Digital Freight Train is about to usher in an epoch-making transformation involving the end-to-end digitization and automation of the rail freight industry. As part of the European Green Deal, the European Union aims to increase the share of freight transported by rail to 30 percent by 2030. Crucial to achieving this goal is the digitalization and automation of freight trains.
