I didn't know that that a single song could sum up Dillinger. They're extremely versatile, and this song is basically a patton-era faith no more tribute(which is siiick).

If you are a Jazz musician, you really should listen to this album from Dillinger Escape Plan (and perhaps others from them), it's very good actually. Some of these musicians were jazz musicians too. And if you listen to it carefully you will find a lot of jazzy details in them songs. Hope you enjoy it :)

I like the fact they can play something like this, 43% burnt, Mouth of Ghost, and When I Lost My Bet. All different, crazy songs in different levels of technical structure and musical approach. It doesn't get much better than TDEP.

Greg Puciato has the best vocals in metal. One of the greatest male vocalists in all music in my opinion. His range is insane. Huge variety of vocal techniques. Excellent dynamics. I don’t feel like he gets the recognition due because many never listened to Dillinger. He’s sought after by many producers and musicians. His performance on Jerry Cantrell’s last record was beautiful. Imaginary Fire- Carpenter Brut was a showcase of this man’s vocal talent. I absolutely love listening to this guy sing. I’m not usually in to vocals. It’s not that I don’t like them, it’s just that the instrumental arrangements of most songs are what catch my attention.

One good thing with dillinger is they created something "truely" unheard before, and it's kind of rare in this century. Another is that after being surprising at first (in their beginning) they still are able to surprise with things you don't expect from them, without deceiving. Definitly one of the most creative, talented and unpredictable bands i ever heard of.

I bought the album based on this song. Let’s just say the rest of the album wasn’t what I expected, an acquired taste. Which I acquired, fortunately.

The fact that these guys can write something like Farewell Mona Lisa and then this, pretty much both musical godliness to the extreme, just shows how fucking off the radar of awesomeness these dudes are......

i mastered the art of constantly pouring water on my ears while listening. no actually their sound grew on me after a while. pretty interesting once you get past the whole weird sound changes and screaming. keep listening and youll find gems like this on most of their albums.

@@anotherkilleramongst I excluded that search being fruitful at age 5. Not going to pick it up at 55.
