I can’t believe the writers “Shut down” this relationship in season 2… like whhyyy? Ok ok, I get it about the bombing… and if Kate is VP then Hal will never let Kate go… even if she’s into Austin. She’s trapped in this marriage… even if they are co-dependent. That’s not love tho. But Austin won’t do anything until Kate is free.

@ it literally makes no sense. It’s like TPTB just said « shut it down before it becomes viral! » . Tho I get it why they would want to dial it down in S2, but even s2e1 I was super annoyed at Kate for the way she was treating Austin. Like « waow! You don’t even look at him now? » IMHO, it felt so out of character…🤷🏽‍♀️

I'm astonished! I do understand that they wanted to focus 100% on politics and Hal is a very interesting (dirty) character; but the sudden change was so painful. I missed Kate & Austin's chemistry and connection so much. It hurt to hear Kate talking about Austin as an insecure man, because he isn't. I did enjoy their partnership when they talked about Austin's PM future. They were partners again for a second 😍
