I'm mutuals on twitter with the people who made this iceberg, and in a group chat including them and some other people when we discussed this iceberg, I found out that "the pants stay on while showering" refers to Shinya showering with pants on on some of their first overseas tours and I think that the diss track refers to someone on Tumblr or live journal (?) writing a pretty satiric diss track about how dir's music brings out abortion! Kiyoharu cosplay is most likely referring to Kyo's looks from the 90's, that are extremely similar to kuroyume Kiyoharu's older stage looks Kyo tumblrina refers to an old tumblr account, there was something weird about it, but I don't remember what Thirty gifts and birth charts&addresses are supposedly fake things, don't know much else Cannibal Kyo is probably about how a lot of fans make jokes about Kyo eating babies, etc... Now... the sukkia one is interesting... I often hear my friends referring to it but they refuse to tell me about it. All I've found out is that it apparently means "suck it" and Ari, one of the iceberg creators is making a google doc about "sukkia lore"...

"Diss track" is more than likely about the numerous songs people assume are about Kisaki. I believe "Skirt Incident" was probably the time Toshiya was smashing a bass in the earlyish days and tripped. The plastic surgery allegations are, as far as I know, about the change in Kyo's nose after the Family Values tour, which he broke his own nose on stage during.

One thing I’m surprised isn’t on the ice berg is that weird “noodle dance” video. It was this weird video of these two shirtless teenagers from Hong Kong I think, doing a lip synch and dance to a song about noodles. It somehow got spread about the Vkei fan base online in the mid-2000s and was misattributed as a video of Kyo and Die as teenagers. My stupid ass and a bunch of others fell hard thinking it was a legit video of Kyo and Die in their early days.😂

The text on the Shinya prank video seems to talk about Die and Toshiya buying Shinya his own bowling shoes and bowling ball that he's ben wanting for a long time.

Also the cosplay might just refer to the fact that Kyo took heavy inspiration from Kiyoharu (him being a roadie for the band, Kuroyume, beforehand) for his appearance and mannerisms in DEG's early days

Die is so cool and i really hope that fan he visited is okay now❤ is funny how in the youtube Word translator it says "gucci and buchi" instead of puchi (i use the Word translator for understand better the video cuz my English isn't the best). I LOVED the video! Tbh kinda sad for the lolita thing but also im pretty sure he hates the style and not the persons that wore it so, also its a common thing that they lied (at least this happends with kyo) in a lot of interviews so easily could be a joke. If I recall correctly, the fan is fine now. The site with the game works, it's just the game that can't be played anymore because it's made in Flash. An archive of it wouldn't work as well.

I've been into Dir en grey since 2003 and wearing lolita since 2006, and think the hating lolita thing is kinda whatever tbh. He doesn't have to think it's cute or cool, even if he's modeled tights that can be used with gothic lolita :X And Shinya was a great model whenever he appeared in the G&LB, so at least we have/had that hahaha
