zgrillo2004 It's not a matter of politics being involved or not, most of these new cartoons lack the most basic essence that made the old cartoons better. They've mostly been reduced to the "let's reach the new younger generation by artificially putting things they can relate to, like social networks!", "please the hipsters" and meme-maker comedy disaster that is aired nowadays. Creative freedom and originality has been severely restricted. Also, you speak of feminism as if it was a bad thing, there's nothing wrong with wanting men and women to have equal social opportunities and rights. Now, femism, wich is the idea of remodeling society so it works as matriarchal hierarchy where women are privileged, is a problem. The old PPG had an episode entirely dedicated to clarifying that misconception, and that is one of the many reasons why I like it more than the new series.

Assuming this was restored via original cel art frames and backgrounds or re scanned via original film and cleaned up in Photoshop. it looks amazing! its too bad in the the 90s all that was available was stupid super beta max or super vhs tapes (and later DV tapes) for quick distribution among studios. thats why most if not all cel art based cartoons quality is degraded via dvd box sets or download. Never the less always loved your work John :P you're an insane animator in a good way! XD

I like how the cat got away with sending a first class letter using a 19 cent postcard stamp. You used an actual image of an actual US postage stamp, and I remember those 19 cent postcard stamps with the deer on it, I remember using them when letters were 29 cents and postcards were 19, which is the rate in 1993 or 1994 when this was made.... but he got away with using a 19 cent stamp but for an actual letter, not a postcard. Good job sticking it to the US postal service, they deserve it.
