OMG I usually listen to Rupert and I find him very consistent and structured, really experiential and loving too - but I have not noticed previously how kindly he and his eyes radiate.. A sage. Beautiful too.

I also never saw his face so happy and free. Maybe this is what happens when you’re interviewed by two friends and he doesn’t have to travel far, being right back home with his family afterwords. So happy to see him this way🙏🏻

Wow, thank you for this, I lost my soulmate of 28 year's, he passed on 01.01.2020, he was diagnosed with metastatic brain cancer 2 months earlier, until then he was a fit healthy happy man, I nursed him myself at home until his last breath, this has been the darkest time of my life and also full of love within myself, I know he is with me I miss his physical presence alot, in 28 year's we only ever spent 8 days apart, Blessings and love 🙏🕉️💜

I'm so incredibly sorry for your loss I cant imagine how painful that must be. I am separated from my fiance, my soulmate, due to being in different countries.. due to pandemic and my country closing it's borders we don't know when we will be able to see each other again. A different situation to yours... The grief I feel is so huge to me but so tiny in comparison to what I'd imagine losing your soulmate of 28 years is like. Sending you love and light 💜

Thank you Rupert I also felt a great peace when my little daughter had a very sad accident many years ago. I learnt that peace or happiness is what manifest spontaneously when we surrender our will to the “Will of God” and release the idea that we have to do something to be happy.

"Most people still believe they can get rid of their suffering, in other words they can find peace or happiness by changing something in their objective experience. Having a better relationship, changing their job, changing whatever. [...] in our culture we are brought up to believe that happiness or peace are dependent upon the content of your experience, external circumstances. And whilst the acquisition of the object, the substance, the relationship may briefly put an end to our seeking it never delivers the lasting peace or happiness for which we long. Sooner or later [...] the old suffering bubbles up again". That's pretty much the gold there. So simple, but understanding this from an experiential level, will definitely change ones life

The only thing that is appearing to stop you from enlightenment/self-realization/eternal life/knowing yourself to be unconditional love is identification with thoughts, emotions, sensations, perceptions and experiences instead of being aware of being aware and knowing yourself to be that unconditional love pure consciousness in which all thoughts, emotions, sensations, perceptions and experiences appear but are not inherently one with you; they are an expression of unconditional love; you are that infinite that is expressing itself as suffering/pleasure but inherently you are neither; you are that nothing/unconditional love/pure consciousness in which they are appear and by which they are perceived; Suffering/pleasure comes and goes; there is an awareness that is aware of them coming and going; that you are; remember and know what you are; never identify with anything that is appearing within you; since it appears within you; it can't be you; you are that in which it appears. When you abide as that in which it appears instead of identifying; nothing has a grip on you; if anything comes; it quickly goes; like clouds passing; only if you identify as a cloud then it will appear as if the cloud is here for longer than it is originally supposed to; if you simply rest as the awareness and do not identify; it will quickly dissolve; be unconditional love by being aware of being aware; this is the highest; this is what you are seeking in absolutely everything else; you are seeking yourself; you are seeking unconditional love; but you are looking outside of yourself; instead of being aware that you already are unconditional love. Love love

It is not your enemy, if you don't treat it that way. And as soon as suffering let's go of you, you are more experienced and gain the ability to change unhealthy/unnatural circumstances without pain or effort. Just by seeing the natural state of how things should be. You step out of confusion and into clarity

Is this dual emotional experience applicable to “evil/dark” behaviors when those are seemingly void of empathy and compassion? Perhaps at that point the soul has left and devoid is the result, therefore cycles repeat perpetually. In that case, Can evil be guided to light and evolve into feeling /expressing of empathy and love in a single lifetime?

I have a question, it may be a weird question but all these spiritual masters those who are enlightened says that the awareness doesn’t die even after the body dies, on what basis they can say that the awareness doesn’t die even after the body dies while they’re still using the same body to say it? Can anyone kindly help me to understand this? Thank you

It’s because they’ve realised themselves to be the eternal awareness, without any body or mind. It’s a good question, but i think the real answer will only be found experientially. All of them talk about how recognition of the self is so true, it cannot be mistaken when it happens. I don’t know how to put it really, but even if you explore the teachings of non-duality intellectually, you will find a convincing answer somewhere :)

Problems do not always come from within. In fact most of the time they are external and beyond our control, so saying that we should embrace it and move towards the suffering is extremely unhelpful. Spira has a very nice life, I wonder if he would be able to practise what he preaches if he lived in abject poverty or with a very serious and painful disease, or chained to a radiator in a dark room for 4 years.

You stop nourishing that 'EGO' and at the same time start sharing. Remember you are now at war with that ugly self of yours and you are not going to cease until you reach that shore of peace. Your journey is made by a ship called:resistence of tentations and its aim is take you far away from egoism, hatred, enemity to the island of sharing caring and finally loving. This journey is taking place in your inside in your heart and the remedy is to substitute those dark feelings with others that make you human in the very profound meaning of the name. Do you think you are not going to suffer by doing this? Of course you are. Remember you are at war, and war requires suffering. But the most important thing is the result of the journey. There is no life without suffering. It is part of the human condition. When we talk about love, we are not meaning sentimentality or emotions because these don't last.these are changing and not constant and not transcendent. With love we mean the divine Love. It is the vehicle that makes you love everything everyone. You don't have enemies at all, you become the most ecologist human person in the world.
