The Discussion "In Death & Life"

A while ago @EarthQuakerDevices approached me to do a demo for their Life Pedal Version 3 distortion pedal which was launched this year. I was pretty over the moon about it and thought…how cool would it be to write and record a song using this pedal through every instrument? I really wanted to hear it on bass, various guitars (single coil, hum buckers) and synths!! I purposefully wrote a non-metal song because all the demos I had seen thus far were with super doom-y riffs with the gain maxed out… and I wanted to showcase the pedal in another light because I knew its versatility. So I got down to business and wrote and recorded a song for @The_Discussion_ called In Death & Life where I used the Life Pedal on EVERYTHING. I also really wanted to do a trippy lo-fi Green Screen video where I played each instrument as a “band member”. So… here we are!!!
