Fun facc: the "sex" message in the Lion King is supposed to spell out "SFX" for special effects. The special effects team wanted to add a little easter egg for themselves in the pollen. But NOW its just a controversial thing because people paused it at the wrong time...

@@hikize not necessarily. Some animations like the wildebeest scene in the same movie as the pollen scene were automated through computers and were set on a singular path. It was most likely a one and done thing to them with them putting two frames of reference to themselves and when simba lays down and the pollen starts to disperse and they just let the computer do everything else without really looking that hard into it

Which Toy Story scene are you talking about? If it's the one where Woody purposely threw Buzz out the window, it's already in. There isn't really dark lore surrounding Veggietales, but there's alot of depressing stuff surrounding the production tho.

I saw him talk about it, but he didn't say that if Pixar would've put it in the movie, then they would've gone out of business all because of how mean Woody would've been if that character of Woody in the deleted scene was in the movie if he yelled at Slinky and tossed Buzz out the window on purpose. Another thing I was hoping he would mention was that when they were making either Toy Story 1 or 2 (I don't remember which exactly), they lost the data to the movie and I think they had to remake the script for the movie or something. Lastly, there was a short called Jessie's Award Speech from 2002 that also was lost media dude you should check that out totally.

I've never liked disney 😭 as a kid, i hated it because that's ALL my sister and younger cousins would watch. Tangled was replayed so many times the disk wore out... But then now i dont like disney because there are some things that are too weird about it. A lot of stuff on this ice berg can be put down to troll editors or animators, but the other crap is just ridiculous. Zack and Cody talked about how they got it so much easier as disney actors because they were boys... the girls were sexualized.

8:50 Weirdly enough, a lot of Very Special Episodes designed to talk about a sensitive subject in a respectful way end up getting softbanned from reruns precisely BECAUSE they're sensitive subjects, which feels like completely missing the point. Apparently this is why a lot of modern shows do "drug" episodes with roundabout Awkward Drug Metaphors, as actually naming any real substance is considered technically verboten even when the whole episode is ENTIRELY about it.
