I am a first grade teacher. I have my students exercise around 6 times per day in short bursts, plus recess. I am inspired to add the affirmations!

What a fabulous woman, so energetic & inspirational. Love this idea of incorporating the affirmations while exercising. It made the exercise more fun and more powerful at the same time. A win-win.

I loved the emotional verbal motivation with body engagement movement. I think the different body actions for the different affirmations helps memory recall & anchors these thoughts. "I am strong I am superman strong I am strong I am superwoman strong I'm inspired! I am pumped up! I'm on fire!"

Whether it was the exercise or not, Dr Suzuki is a very happy and positive person. The more we behave in a certain way the more it is who we become. Positive and healthy behaviors lead to that type of life. Thanks for the info Wendy!

I would agree to this cent percent because it actually worked out for me, reduced My anxiety and panic attacks by 80%, I won't say 100% but like 80 is still super great and I would give all credits to yoga and exercise. It's not like some magic or miracle but I was about to give up on myself obv because I couldn't live like with those awful attacks. Yoga did magic to me.

i would like schools for our kids integrate this idea, and do at least 10min before the 1st class of the day instead of principals' words...maybe they will have awesome outcomes in grades!

Yes yes yes, she is so right. All these things I instinctively knew. I exercise everyday with study, but so important to have it on paper since we are so disconnect with our selves these days. I see how if its not official people disregard it somewhat, I always saw an office job for me as a slow death and at 18 I took a job with half the pay because I knew I needed to be on my feet. Now is the time to exercise, everyday for life. :-) Good luck people. I wish good healthy for all.

Call me crazy, normally I am exceptionally fit, I exercise daily for at least an hour a day, my routine is power walking on a beach followed by various floor exercises, I actually enjoy it and miss it when I can't. But, I 'can' suffer from acute anxiety and an illness prevented me from training for about 6 months, during this time I noticed my anxiety all but disapeared, now, I am back exercising regularly and it has returned. Thinking this can't be, I googled it and apparently, exercise can make you anxious. I still exercise, as I said, I still enjoy it.

Great content. Good to see that timeless principles are being "re-discovered". Too bad that the technical quality is so low. I had expected better of even a TEDx production. It sounds like they never turned on her microphone. We are hearing second-hand sound from the PA system. :-(

The misuse of the phrase paradigm shift is mildly irritating but not as much as the non verbal noise. I’m not sure if it was the swinging earrings catching the mike stalk or the sound engineer trampolining but it is extremely distracting, especially through headphones !
