This movie should be categorized as "Educational" so people can see why Congress is so close to a snake pit, and it's almost impossible to get anything done.. @@everett79 this is in the context on today barley anyone talks about this movie today and that is a crime in my opinion so that’s why it’s underrated to me. Now yes it made money but it was panned by critics of the day and was pushed back by the often mentioned movies of which are too many to list here but anyone wants to can look up them selves. That year alone had 30 -40 movies that get mentioned all the time and that’s not dig at them but this movie has basically been blackballed that general public forgot it exists and it’s never on TV 📺 . This is why I always make sure to show this movie to those who haven’t seen it so it stays alive. also it’s weird that it never got blu ray release when other movies from that same year that made far less money 💰 did.

My father and I used to watch this when I was in middle school, we used to laugh about how ridiculously outlandish these scenarios were. I can still watch it and laugh, but it's an eerie uncomfortable sort of humor. This film has become a dark comedy. I can't believe what has happened.

This movie is dripping with everything 90s. From the genre and writing to the costume designs and music (especially the steel drums at the end). I was in my early 30s when this came out in theaters (1996), but am just discovering it now (5/15/24) even though I was a fan of Eddies back in the day. I appreciated the trip down memory lane in a movie I enjoyed more for the overall nestalgia then the movie itself. Worth at least one watch IMHO...
