I can't forget my first encounter with Jesus,I couldn't look at the brightness of His light,it was so bright and frightening. He said to me "I AM THE LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH" I wasn't myself for complete one week,I cried all through that week and didn't go out,everything about this world was meaningless to me. What I saw was beyond me. It was fasting and a specific prayer point (Lord I want an encounter with you) that birthed that encounter and it changed my life completely. I wrote down everything I encountered that night and the experience is still fresh in my memory till date,like it happened few minutes ago. God is real and if you are determined for an encounter,He will show you Himself. Well-done The Winlos ,I can relate to this video.

We have a roll do play to avoid distractions. In his case 1. He could have moved when the guy brought the food. 2. He should have ensured that his door was close 3. Put away your phone When all is said and done it’s a daily choice! We blame satan for everything, but we have a part to play. God will not come down to save us from temptations, that is why we have His Spirit!

fair, sometimes you can excuse yourself from distractions. the excusable ones tho. for instance you know your weakness was the plantain(food) you could have left the scene till he was done. the prayer time too, your could have locked your door to avoid that distraction. first before you start a journey of fasting and prayers you have to know the things that distract you and try as much as possible to be free from. sometimes it can't be avoided you could politely tell them. soo many instances you can explore.

In his case, if he told his friend, that would be to avoid distractions from him. As he didn't tell him now, see the way he was influenced by him. In my house, if anyone is going on a fast, he'd talk because if he doesn't, we'll make food for him/her and if he doesn't eat, it'd waste. And also to avoid distractions like knocking on his/her door while he's having a quiet time.

I can relate to this and I dont blame his friend at all. I told myself 7 days fasting. On the first day, I ate my son's lunch because I was feeding him and he refused to finish the food. This continued till I decided to stop the fast. What do you do as a mother who has to cook and feed her children every day? You cannot avoid that kind of distraction, you need mastery over it..😂
