Nikko Jenkins went on a spree in Omaha, Nebraska in 2013, at the behest of an ancient Egyptian snake God, Apophis. Nikko Jenkins said the Apophis told him to do some horrible things, not only to other people but to his himself. This is the story of Nikko Jenkins.

So grateful to have such a terrible short-term memory! This way I can watch Mike tell his stories over and over and the wit is always quick and so perfectly timed. Also Mike shows a sympathy and humanity toward the victims. Like, you almost get a sense of who these people were and it tugs at the strings. It breaks your heart. Mike is the best at getting all this in with just the laser-exact right component of humor. An almost impossible balance. Beyond impressive.

Dwight Neffejkcrb even the normal people who go through prison come out with mental illnesses. There is virtually no mental health care or rehabilitation in out prison system and its the main reason for our high prison population, due to reoffenders. It’s almost to the point where I feel like they want more people in prison.

@@dwightneffejkcrb463 the state did not take responsibility for his life, they took responsibility for keeping that animal away from civilized Americans. It's not a scumbag resort for social reform, it's prison. Their job is to enforce punishment and justice on behalf of his poor victims. No one owes him shit, the moment he ignored the rights of his fellow man he lost his. No one denied him medication, he consistently refused to take what he was given. So when does an individual take responsibility for his own actions and his own life? I doubt this dude would've or could've been rehabilitated. Look at him! Lots of people have mental illnesses and don't kill people. Im a disabled veteran and know quite a few Vets with PTSD. None of them are out killing. And besides this guy spoke very fluently and coherently. He's doing just fine.

There are a lot of biased, prejudiced, and just completely really bad people and psychologists/psychiatrists/therapists/ etc in the mental health world and the fields of psychology and psychiatry. Plus, the field has a long history of abuse too. Which is why there is such a deep stigma on mental health, mental illness, and being seen as "crazy" and "mad". It has gotten MUCH better, but there are still plenty of just terrible professionals.

The system failed against the orders of the guy they hired to evaluate him! That’s how I ended up going to him though, the state fired him so he opened up his own practice and bada bing bada boom.

The problem in these cases (as to whether someone is insane or not) is that it's completely based on the *subjective* evaluation of a psychiatrist/psychologist. What always happens is that the psychiatrists supporting the prosecution will say the person's not insane, while the defense's psychiatrists will say that they *are*. Then it's basically up to the jury/judge to determine which psychiatrists to trust (and in bigger cases, all of the psychiatrists on both sides will be pretty well-known and experienced, but will still have opposing opinions).

Hello Terance. I totally respect you opinion and hope you respect mines. The system did fail him. I know this. We all know this. But when does personal accountability come into play? When do the people around him tell him he needs help? Where is the look out for our brother? They all failed him but he also failed himself. Plenty of people come from messed up families, have mental disabilities and turn their lives around. Yes they criminalized him and yes there are outside factors but he could have stopped and been like this ain’t the way dude. He could have said dude I need help. I know it isn’t easy to get help but he could have at least tried. Someone should have tried! I pray for him and everyone who he murdered. Now he is on death row. A sad waste of a life ....he could have been great. He could have done great things. Benefit of the doubt: If he is schizophrenic, I blame everyone around him, the state, the school system, his parents and his foster parents for not getting him the treatment he needed to become a functioning member of society. Did no one care enough to want him to get help? Why didn’t his GF suggest to him to get help? Friends? Family? They all allowed him to become a monster. All the blood of the ppl he hurt is on their hands as well.
@monikapietruczuk450
@monikapietruczuk450 3 жыл бұрын
@@sinnaminshouse3 @Terance I agree with both of you. A friend of mine says: it explains but it doesn't justify. When I look at such lives I know its a blame of us all as well as none of us. This men had a rough start, had parents that hurt him and society that didn't help. I dont know if he is mentally sick or not, but I'm sure as hell, that even if he's mentally healthy he would require a lot of help to get straight with his life event if the system would pick him up when it should. Notice how much self harm he did to himself. How numb he must be to be able to do so. I'm not talking about the lifes that he has taken, coz that's obvioulsy wrong, but look at how self-destrctive he is. His behaviour goes against all natural instincts of self-preservation. I know he deserves a punishment, and to be honest I feel that the capital punishment would be a relief for him and his troubled mind.

The fact that he would panic when no one would react to him cutting himself is very telling. My bad I misread your comment. But yeah he was truly possessed this dude. I once had a crazy shroom overdose where I was trying to tear out my own eyeballs. If I had suceeded I guess I would be blind today. Luckily I wasnt able to. I had no idea what i was doing or that it was even dangerous and could cause my to lose my vision. LOL I felt no pain what so ever. I ate about 3 lbs FRESH psilocybe cubensis. To confirm, yes it was at least 3 pounds. I had a tolerance from doing them almost daily but that time i wanted to see what it would be like to have the strongest trip possible. So I just downed the shrooms for about an hour straght. BEing fresh and mostly water, the weight is far more than dried. So idk what 3 pounds fresh would equal dried. But I had tried dried shrooms before and they are weak. It takes about 5x as many to get the same trip as you would off of 1 fresh one.

Be cool to see someone audit that family. 633 crimes since 1979; cost of life, effect on society, court cost, jail costs, police man hours, victims etc. Judicial system should probably send the family a thank you trophy for keeping them on the job.

It should be added that Niko Jenkins was put out on the street having come directly out of solitary for 3 years. No adjustment time, no readiness counseling, nada. It was a disaster waiting to happen.

If we don’t find a way to prevent people from damaging children this will never end. Childhood trauma/untreated mental health issues/behavioral issues doesn’t always produce murderous adults, but very rarely do murderous adults come from caring, nurturing backgrounds.

@@middletech I notice she's covered in facial tatoos as well. Real smart way to get ahead in society, cover your face in horrible tatoos. How's she ever going to get a job, how is she ever going to have a hope of moving in "normal" societal circles, I'm guessing she has children and I'm wondering how those poor kids will ever have a chance at life as they'll be almost certain to repeat the cycle of their parents and family members.

@@MrHarrystank I seriously couldn't agree more. The only thing I kept thinking about with this whole case was, if it were a Pit-Bull, you wouldn't EVEN THINK about putting him down if he killed 4 people, but because this ANIMAL can say the words "I'm insane, you no hurt me" we should somehow FEEL sorry for him? I mean, he just LIKED to kill, and he got off on it. That's IT!!! NOTHING more needs to be studied. He liked it, he did it, now he has to pay for it. And HE KNEW it was wrong, cause why else would he have tried to burn the SUV? TO DESTROY the evidence of his being there. THATS a person OF SOUND MIND. PERIOD!!!

The Sun Behind The Sun All gods are interesting stories. It’s too bad that people still take some of those myths literally. Yahweh, was a minor Canaanite deity until his story changed over time and various cults emerged which are the three most prominent religions in the world to this day.
