Please do a video on u.s. navy deep divers. My dad was a EOD navy diver in the 1950s. He joined the navy in October 1940 and fought in both the Atlantic and Pacific mostly on destroyers and mine sweepers. During the war he was a gunners mate. After the war he went to dive school and then 7 years of EOD training. I never met my father and I just recently received his dd214 from the national archives. This is where I discovered he was a navy EOD diver. He was a career navy man and retired as a GMC gunners mate chief. I'm really interested in learning what it was like for him. Thank you
