Reassuring brilliance. We all want to rescue someone. Sometimes to be rescued is good too

What a brilliant original songwriter Neil is, both lyrically and musically. Along with Elbow, Divine Comedy are amongst the creme de la creme of interesting, modern, thoughtful, moving, witty, fun pop music.

It's a heart breaking work of staggering genius. Neil Hannon has written many good songs but this is just a cut above. Simply brilliant. Thank you Big Son, to use the Norn Iron parlance!

I'm a fan of the divine comedy, not one of their best but still memorable and entertaining, I heard a female voice but didn't see her there

While the band itself is great, Neil is in a class by himself as a songwriter and singer. I put him up against anybody in pop music today. I don't know why he doesn't get more recognition. Sure wish he had enough of a following in the USA to play New York!

Eh ma vuoi mettere la musica degli anni 60 e 70? D’accordo, ma quando ascolti pezzi come questo le mie certezze svaniscono. “Divine Comedy” fuoriclasse e “To the Rescue” capolavoro assoluto!

Great stuff!! Two observations...Neil's chord formations are beyond fascinating, and why wasn't the camera on the accordion for his solo??
