just a heads up, since division 2 was released the counter in the home base aget range has been broken. if you arent getting the damage you want restart and it will spaz out for a while giving you these ridiculous numbers. i have a similar build pushes 32-35 mil and its better than this. 60% crit chance and 147% crit damage with 96.5% head shot damage and if i sit for long enough it will calm down to round 12-17 mil dps. but if i restart the game im back to 35mill. go outside and show those counts in hard or challenge mode instead.

It's more of synergy of what goes well together such as to get damage, all you need to build is weapon damage, crit chance, crit damage while finding brand sets that can make you do more damage. Same thing for talents where it can help you do damage. It can take some time to make your own build as you might be tweaking it until you think it's good enough. Same thing for skill build and armor build. My only problem is finding the right gear pieces that I need with good stats

Have you tried running companion on your back pack? If your running the repair drone anyway the 15% buff should always be up. Concussion can stack a 25% bonus if you kill with a headshot but I most offten its giving 10% for hits (and nothing if the enemy doesnt have a headshot).

Nice build BUT go for the Sleipner LMG! The Talent is sick and maybe after crafting 50-60 of them there will be one with a decent to good roll. BTW with the Sleipner you can get the DPS up to 1.000.000.0 maybe even more. My Sleipner is not the best :/

Here is probably a stupid question - how does targeted loot work? do you have to run a heroic mission to get the loot to drop? I know certain areas have a higher likelihood to drop, say Petrov, gear. But specifically, contractors gloves. Can these drop doing activities like control points or do they only drop doing missions?

I made a beast layout I have almost 1 mil armor 2 skill tier that performs like level 5 and still getting like >20k damage from one headshot and my pistol has a capability of well over 1mil in one shot I think my class is deigned for to break a class like this cuz if I took out that glass cannon and weakened you, I’d be able to heal and you won’t and would hopefully get the upper edge. That being said a teammate doing damage like this would deff be a great teammate I like having an overall even build and I got my build pretty awesome along with my talents. I got try and make a build like this I just feel so naked with bad armor and horrible skill healing.

Hey Nick! I would change the Holster and Backpack brands, the Providence Backpack has a red mod instead of the Ceska Blue. Good build! I would like to get a Fox Kneepads please! :D

The Ceska brand give 10 crit chance with one piece, there´s not a single mod that can give that amount of criit chance, the other option would be a Grupo Sombra that give 15 crit damage, and again, no mod give such amount, it´s not worth to change a Core Atribute like that for a mod.

Go to the area near the clan entrance in White house, there is a wall with 3 clan sheilds, inspect them to see the highest ranking clans, scroll to find some that fit your play style, send a few a msg.

cant wait to be lvl 500 shd to benefit from 10% extra crit chance and be able to lower my crit chance on gear. Also keep in the mind that if 3 people are wearing the exotic mask in the same group you can benefit from all 3 buffs at the same time. Thats 35% extra crit chance. So 10-35% crit chance from mask + 10% crit chance from shd levels. At the end i think there is no need to get that much crit chance on gear attributes

*During PvE* negev with gunner and 150 rounds and... i think its steady handed? the perk where you stack accuracy and reload at 100 stacks? Just did a heroic run of wall street and I shit you not I didint reload once. This perk turns the bullet spongyness into an advantage. Tested it again with a friend, and although i know the parametres are different between 1 man and 2 man, my DPS DUMPSTERED his MG5 due to the fact that I was never reloading and behold: he was wearing ninjabikes, meaning that even the instant reload with the vault is weaker than the talent. The dps you put down with a negev while an MG5 is reloading is superb, even taking into account fast hands. My buddy said it was annoying though.... basically hear machine gun fire for the whole mission nonstop, so theres a drawback for you.

NickTew I really don't get it man. I'm running similar build to yours and I have 48 crit chance 140 crit damage and 80 head-shot damage and I have never seen more than 14 Mil DPS. It's beyond me as to how do you get 3 times the damage with the similar build. I've been grinding as much as I could and I'm staring to give up on this game because it's simply no longer fun for me... I need to empty 3-4 mags to kill elite and it takes 2 shots to go down.

naw. this build is boring. try this: 3 striker ( mask gloves holster) -roll to Crit damage 1 Grupo Chest or bp ( lots of reds for Crit dmg chance) 1 Ceska chest or BP ( same) 1 sawyers knee pads OR..... LMG Damage pads all reds crit chance dmg. Add 1 Pestilence = HOLY crap auto ticks and GREAT DPS with crits or use Bullet King. striker RPM increase DPS like crazy along with sawyers knee pads once they charged up. backpack talent Vigilance or bloodsucker, chest talent BRACED!!!!!! nothing else will do.... use it. tip for bloodsucker: once ticks kill a enemy from pestilence, if have bloodsucker backpack, will refresh 10% armor, and give 10% bonus armor each time.

Try not using glass cannon, if ur using clutch it seems redundant to use glass cannon. Just take too much damage that clutch cant keep you alive...maybe having a ar as well with preservation

Funny, they never show those glass canon build against an invaded stronghold or black tusk missions where you have drone that 1 blow you up, where you have those mek dog throwing grenades at you non stop, where there's enemies with mortars shooting at you, etc. I tried those glass canon build, and you wipe the floor with everthing but, catch on fire, you're dead, 1 drone explode near you, you're dead, 1 sniper scrath you, you're dead or 1 suicider get too close, you're dead. Not to mention that if you run into a guy with electric bullets, you are toast.

1. Sounds like you suck at positioning 2. You not killing stuff fast enough 3. You are prioritizing the wrong targets. I have my world on heroic I never do anything below heroic no matter what and I run glass cannon only and I have no problems soloing heroic or in team play and yes all that you mentioned will kill you for sure but its something you get used to and adjust accordingly like I always snipe the snipers or drone guys right away and lmg the dogs soon as I can without poking out for too long then peaking a different angle I promise you these things work.

Do not use the M1A or Bakers Dozen. The Urban MDR is superior in DPS in every way. Even if you sacrifice you chest talent for Braced. The MDR has a higher magazine and Crits way more. Maybe im better at headshots? I dont know but at 650K crits and 700K headshots im doubling the damage of every one i come across using the M1A youtube build. Im havent even dropped an MDR better than the one that Benitez at Haven is selling. Lucky Magazine is definitely an underrated talent

I think my game is bugged or something....granted I don't have 30% extra damage from the chest piece, but I am using perfect spark instead, which grants 15% when my skills do damage, which I maintain most of the fight, adding in the extra 25% vigiliance and I should be more than capable of close to this. YET I can't seem to crack 4 mil DPS....anyone care to tell me what I might be doing wrong.....my stats are basically the same. Running same weapon...better crit damage and slightly lower damage to armor.

LOL in the intro clear controle point with a turret to do the interact shield dmg glitch then jump to base of operation when applyed the damage. make a video from computer dashboard and login to game and then go to shooting range then i believe the 40 mill. i know my build is not perfect yet but i only do 10-12 mill no glitch

Use a NEGEV with the +50 mag and the Steady Handed talent... You'll thank me later. Who needs a Bullet King when you can have a Bullet Laser that rarely ever needs reloaded or causes you to lose any ammo.

Oh wow, I followed your advice and was able to make an assault rifle build with 46% crit chance and 108% crit damage. I still and trying to find a couple of pieces for better rolls though. I see a call for aid and join in... into a Heroic CP takeover. I was melting the baddies! Although I forgot at first that I had glass cannon so I went down fast. After that though, I remembered that my gun has pretty good range and just stayed far away and commenced to mow through all the baddies. Even the elites went down fast.

You could try replacing the glass canon piece with Perfectly Unbreakable. Might not melt the baddies fast, but you can face tank. Just replace it depending on how you're feeling that day.

The only way to get 40 million DPS is with the shooting range bug that makes your DPS only go up.

Just a tidbit; the title says 40 mil DPS which is absolutely ludicrous. You won't do 40 million damage per second with this kind of build.

40 mil dps was a calculation glitch pre tu10 was mainly lmgs. No possible way to hit a consistent 40 million per second.

I started running a build with 40% crit chance and 90% crit damage with the talents (obliterate, and unstoppable force) it absolutely detroys enemies when paired up with pestilence, by the time i max out the debuff im doing 650k per tick
