It is a great build I've had the same thing for about a month now. I was using the full shield but I will start looking into the half shield and deflector as well. I would say the artificer hive actually does work for armor as well I have noticed it.

my problem with the raids or any of this coop type stuff in general was always tryin to find a group or try and join someone formin a group but either gettin kicked or not invited because they only want "people with experince", cant get better and gain experience if noone out there lets me join the damn groups so i just never bothered with builds usin the gear that comes from those game modes

if you go into your skill tree and switch your 10% skill dmg perk to the 10% skill healing, wouldn’t it boost the heal to your shield also? something i noticed in the vid

I run a build similar in a lot of ways, it's not strictly meant to tank though I do it well enough. The difference is I run 3 pieces hunter's fury, 2 piece belstone one with intimidate and the momento backpack. I run the striker drone and shield. We use the same assault rifle and I run a SMG with in sync.

HI Patrick, just a quick comment Future Perfect. If you have 3 yellows base like you do and get 4 kills, you will proc overcharge. I have tested this and the actions seems to follow the wording ' Weapons kills at skill ties 6 grant overcharge' so you dont need to be at 4 yellows for overcharge

just farm loot allocation for backpacks, weekly SHD requisition, weekly legendary that is it. if there are multiple ways to collect these are them and if there comes more ways to collect exotics especially in your case backpacks i'll let you know..

My one and only problem with deflector around heroic the mobs just dont shoot me they literally leave cover and walk up to punch me in the nuts or just stare at me until i turn around.

A little insight, when you use the deflector Shield you can't use any gun except the pistol, which means you can't get the skilled tiers up. Either make a Striker shield build or a Deflector shield build. Going into the Summit where npc's make it a priority to get behind you, will just get you melted.

With the deflector shield you can have damage mods in all 3 mod slots

If you made a build only using the Deflector Shield i would stack Skill Damage everywhere, then Skill Repair Mods on the Mask, Chest and Momento Bag (as this boosts the Hives Healing) Personally i wouldnt use Foundary Bulwalk. It lacks other attributes that you get from High End pieces. I found that using the Punch Drunk Mask, Claws Out Holstser, Gila Guard Chest (rolled with Intimidate, and Skill damage) and 2 pieces HanaU. Have around 1.4 mill Armor. Using the Liberty (hitting base damage of 450k) or The Custom Kard with Spike (hitting base damage of 200 k). Then my Deflector Shield have 8 mill Health and Deflector damage is at 260 (before any procs). With a full Momento stack i have a 11 mill shield and doing 300k Deflector damage. Its insane. Elite NPC's will shoot you in the head so its best to deal with them first. Preferably aim you Shiled at them and let the other NPC's damage kill them lol.

Ive never done the raid and inaya says i need to do it to get that gear i have the helmet and a very close to god rolled forge holster and of course momento does any of the foundry pieces drop when its on a regular mission

Quick question on the technician tree, you have skill damage plus 10% active. Wouldn't skill healing be better? Or when using the deflector shield, does that count as skill damage?

Patirk you losing a red core. You have with the momento bag you are getting 2 extra cores. Which means you can turn one of your blue red and you still have 6 for your shield. Where can you get the chest piece? I ran summit 20 levels on legendary And not 1. Is it raid only. Thanks great vid.

Yes, works fine for me... my most used weapon in combination with shields ( True Patriot set aswell ). In bigger groups or groups without communication quite tricky because its not sure you get a kill when you really need one - the "safety" for survival in combination with bulwark set or TP is very high....

only elites/named shoot your head, if you struggle with the deflector shield, try either getting closer to enemies or try stacking some protection from elites. the protection is actually reducing all those headshots that wiped you straight away. try it out, works wonders

Tier 8 with the technician bonus technically. You could definitely swap one or even two of the blues for a weapon damage roll since they wouldn't lower the artificer's skill tier and you'd still have a tier 6 shield, but it's mostly personal preference whether you prefer the extra armor for when you get flanked or the little bit of extra damage.

Nice build but armor regen on every single piece of gear is a waste. Its only 4 900HP/s. NCP's melt your armor faster than it can be recovered. I'd replace armor regen with crit hit chance or damage so you at least have a decent chance of taking down NPC's quicker.

You tank damage and draw Aggro like a tank but you also shoot marshmallows and wait for the NPC's to die from diabetes like a tank... But it's not suitable for teamplay because of the backpack... Pretty useless unless you try to solo a legendary in 3 hours

Exactly. You have to wait to collect your trophies to get any sort of damage on your weapon. Memento makes sense in Heroics. In legendary it a risk as the NPC's are so much more tankier and having to run around collecting trophies while these guys aggressively flank and rush you is dangerous and would require careful play. In this build the armor regen and memento (in my opinion) are useless. 4700 healing per second is just nowhere near enough for legendary. Rather stick another stat on gear pieces because Foundry repairs 1% of armor of 1.8 million armor which is tons more than 4900hp/s

I dont think its real. I tried last night the exact same build on Heroic and it dosent work. The survivability its ok, but if you dont take cover they will bring your shild down in seconds and the damage with this build its crap, to me this is the worst thing about it. Even with a high dmg shotgun with 9 mag and i still needed almost to clips to bring a blue npc down. Here we see he does Legendary and he brings npc down like cardboard boxes...come on. Also my armor regen was higher then his, mine was around 47.500 wile his is at 37.314, but still i didnt do shit, the npc were bringing my shild down like nothing and remember was on Heroic, in legendary i dare not enter with this build. To be honest i played this game from the beggining and i tried almost every build you can imagine and i have to say that on heroic and legendary you just cant do them solo, the game its not meant for that, its an online game, its design to be played with other people in party with different roles. If you can do it all alone, what will be the point of an online game ? PS: there are some missions that i did on Heroic solo, but it was so hard that i didnt enjoy them at all, thats not the way to play Division 2.
