It was your all gold I'll have to try this. Have you had issue with the mortor turret locking in place? When I use mine it sometimes locks on one location and I have to destroy the turret and redeploy.

Josh Mcdermott That’s because you are probably double tapping it, on one location where the enemy is at. Maybe double tap it, once more, it shouldn’t be a problem. I have a stacked team where we all have mortar builds and all of us ran into it, individually. And trust me, people who will start using the mortar build, all of them will get that issue.

I've been running Hard Wired (without feedback loop) Tier build with Striker Drone and Assault Turret and I can handle Heroic Control Points really easily. Not *quite* as fast as what is shown. I'll just sit back and shoot from a safe distance with the Diamondback Exotic Rifle.

The btsu gloves go hard with this set. Just keep throwing your hive, then throw another skill, then blow the hive, throw your skill again, shoot a little, rinse repeat. Also ninjabike with slower longer lasting skills that you don't have to refresh as quickly is great. Turret and drone come to mind.

I've been running a HW build since I started WoNY. I currently run only 3 pieces because I believe HW is still broken. They fixed Positive Reinforcement (chest talent) from interfering with Short Circuit (backpack talent), but some skills still do not correctly trigger Short Circuit. For an example, use the sticky bomb (fire or explosive) and then once it's on cooldown, use something like the hive to try and activate Short Circuit to replenish the sticky bomb. It doesn't work...

With hive you can have cluster mines every 10s because you can pick up and deploy hive all the time. I have so much explosion all the time it sometimes lags my ps4

I ran pulse and seekers for a while when I had the gloves that drastically reduces the pulse cd, and a chest that had skilled. Was perpetual highlighted enemies with non-stop seekers chasing them.

I use hardwired with explosive turret, with med chem launcher. I get instant refresh on my turret. I have haste, skill damage, and skill repair, so I can be a healer in a pinch. I also use the Carnage LMG for extra damage to bleeding enemies.

This is a very good build for up to challenging difficulty. In heroics and +4 cp you need at least 2 shots from artillery and that's just not enought to proc the cluster. I'm sticking with gold build turret/drone nonstop mayham :)

That's what I've been running since Warlords dropped but with a couple of differences - I have Percussive Maintenance instead of the HW backpack (so I give up a little skill damage for Perfect Tech Support) and I run blast radius mods on both skills to offset some of the Olympic level gymnastics the AI seems capable of now.

I have a similar build, but I use the BTSU gloves when I'm running with people with DPS builds . I mainly use this because once I detonate my hive everyone can get their skills back, so all builds that I'm with can spam skills.

I use sobram and china light and wyrven, demolist specialization, with sticky bomb and mortar, the explosive damage is off the chart

This build is also fun if you running in a group that is mainly DPS. Switch the Seeker Mines for Blinder Firefly. You can constantly blind targets, bombard them with artillery and let your buddies melt them.

I like to use sniper and blinder a lot in groups. I don't like to disturb peoples aim but if the bomb turret works well then I may switch over to it. I get why you use the bomb turret though with the potential to hit more then one enemy.

I been using HW with seeker and Auto Turrets. Throw seeker, wait for it to destroy, place turret, seeker reset. I never thought about using the mortars. Thanks.

How are you sure that the holstered talent for SEND OFF is working correctly? by that I mean there is no indicator below the AMMO count where all your other skills appear when they are activated? I seem to remember a couple weeks ago that when I used the Send Off you would see the Perfectly Rooted Icons appear in the row with the rest of the activated talents but then it stopped appearing I would say after the patch a week or so ago.

Tamper proof is an overlooked talent too....turns your turret, hive or remote pulse into a 3m shock trap....great for baiting tanks.....

It's a good build and mortar turret is awesome for clearing CP4s and all but the problem I run into with it is against heavies/tanks. They can just sit there, eating mortars, and take forever to kill. For example, running Lincoln Memorial in an effort to get Tardigrade and the 1st named enemy is much worse with this build then a rifle build. I have to make it rain all over him with multiple seekers. While rifle is shoot red pack, blow it up with 1 or 2 shots, then finish him off with a few shots. So much easier.

I love using the turret obviously, but having endless seekers is dope... i get rushed solo but in a team, this HW build is lovely. I had all the same gear as you in my vault just a couple of lower stats but its fun as hell...

I got a god roll Surge so I thought I would try a skill build for a change after playing around with it I don't know what to think of skill builds they take longer to clear and can be a bit awkward to use especially getting use to aiming the mortar at distances and I'll keep trying it to see if I get a feel for it but I'm use to stacked crit high dps going in close and shredding with a M1A and an M60 but we will see

I still prefer DPS build but these skill builds are certainly helpful playing heroic missions. Ran Wall Street heroic this morning with three guys running blinder skills they made it so easy.

Trying this now, but using a striker drone instead of a turret (although am thinking of trying the turret). Nowhere near getting perfect mods for the skills or the gear yet, but I am enjoying it and soloing nearly everything I am attempting now.

ive been running 4 piece HW lately w chest and pack. its doing very very well and numbers are close to same . my haste is 85% and rarely do i ever wait for the cooldown on my seekers because of the HW set abilities. it doesnt just proc on skill use but cancel/destroy as well. if you got the luck for skilled to consistently proc i could see its advantage , i just dont like relying on lucky chance and would be surprised if skilled would proc enough to really really throw considerably more. might have to swap some stuff and compare. nice build and info though bud

I decided to swap out the exotic with hw back pack to see if its better. I'm not seeing the 10 second cooldown. I'm running 4 hard wire backpack/armor/holster/kneepads. WV mask for 10% skill haste and china light gloves for 15% explosive damage. My seekers are doing 2.3 mil and my mortar turret is doing 2.5 mil damage.

I run a 4 piece Hardwire with the BTSU data gloves and Strategic Alignment pack (China Light) and the Surge. I don't have the shotgun yet, but I prefer the area control ability with the hive, the ability to forcibly bring the seekers online, and the Overcharge plus group skill refresh.

I run something similar but use the go bag and the hard wired gloves. Free tosses and more perks from the go bag. Good build though 👌

You can get two damage mods. I use those with one extra mortar. I prefer gold skill build with the Go Bag. Mortar hits a lot harder and sticky bomb with overcharge is sometimes all that is needed to clear a room. My sticky and mortars hit for 4.9mil at skill T6 on challenging. Named M1A to clean up and take heavy's down quicker plus instamelee kill shotty for a little extra fun.

Massive Devs said Send-off holstered talent will be removed in the next TU, so no point in building around that talent; build as if the talent no longer exists. This means that you will no longer have constant seekers; there will be a cool down after they remove Send-off talent.

I only have a couple of pieces of hard wired but have been thinking about crafting some to try out in my skill build. I use drone and turret so not sure how well it will synergies with those since you don’t spam those skills. I tried using the mortar on a build and didn’t quite like the whole aiming it to get it to deploy. Maybe I just need to get used to it more.

With ur build, ur sacrificing damage for getting ur skills back faster. I run "Glass Cannon" on my vest piece and "shock and awe" on my backpack with 111% skill haste. My arty turret does 5.75 million damage and comes back in 9-10 seconds. I don't have any problems surviving with glass cannon on.

I gave Hardwired another try after the latest update, but the fact that the seeker mines are getting easily dodged 90% of the times (on heroic global diff. at least) is why i turned it down once again. You can clearly see the issue on this video, multiple times.

@@manueltolentino if you run a stinger hive and seeker with a Costa go bag I throw the hive then a nade then seeker everything hits and seekers OC with surge weapon and spotter talent my seekers hit way over 3.6mil and hives in the 1.8mil range very good build I have.

Since they fixed it this was semi broken but now it’s been fixed if you build correctly it can constantly re buff but you need both chest and back pack skill for them to be fully effective you also have the wrong specialist on for the turret and skill damage in legendary missions

All the builds are fantastic, provided that people have the time to farm for 1) perfect of near perfect pieces, and 2) fully upgrade their library. Most people that I run into work full time and can only play either on their days off or add a couple of hours extra a week instead of sleep or spend time with family. At some point they give up trying because the amount of time to farm is exhausting, and if they do not run with a good team that is also equipped and seasoned, they continually get frustrated at re-starting heroic or legendary missions. It would be helpful to post builds for the average player who is not going to have these perfect pieces.

Skill builds are pretty easy to build. Between the guild vendor, the hidden vendor that has hard wired as well, you can build it with relative ease. I work full time and play when I have time and his skill builds I've slowly swapped gear out for better pieces, but along the way they've held up as well.

@@bluetoughguy no one is saying that they are not easy to build. The message was that casual players are going to have a hard time copying his damage and build because most casual players do not have the God roll pieces or a completely maxed out library. If you happen to have both in a casual playing schedule then you are an outlier and very fortunate.

My buddy and I play together and just completed our first heroic run last night on roosevelt island because he wanted the sweet dreams shotgun (which actually dropped for us both on the last boss). Normally though, we live in challenging.

I have this exact same build, and while it can be fun, solo it’s so much slower than the meta DPS. I tried it out on the boss outside the White House, and although I took him out without a problem it took me about 5 minutes. With my rifle DPS build it takes about 1,5 minutes. That’s why I’m refarming for the skill CC blind build, so much more effective in a group. Like the HW damage build, but solo it’s too slow and in group it isn’t more effective than rifle DPS in the current state of the game imo. Like your content though, keep it up :)

Just did CP4's with all directives on heroic with 2 guys that had clusters and artillery and it was hilarious how easy it was. We also had 2 DPS rifle builds too.
