The Division 2: How to Fix Your Broken Characters!

Since Season 1 "The First Rogue" on The DIvision 2 there has been an issue when creating new characters. It is all to do with the way they combine their level 30 and 40 end games and there seems to be a conflict if you own the expansion. When creating new characters and while owning the expansion, if you choose to level your character up to 40 in DC, issues start to present themselves. Some issues I had was not being able to get loot in Countdown, projects not unlocking, the game saying I had mods in my inventory when I never, and so on!
There is a fix for this if you have encountered the same issues and I talk about this in the video.

I found that starting a new character and keeping it entirely in DC from the moment of creation meant that when it got to 40, all the projects and so on were fine. Getting it to 31 quickly by going to NY borks them.

I did a char solely in DC and had to go to NY and complete it to get the 40 projects, DC 40 projects were stuck on 30 level.

I did that but was missing the summit project, went to NY to see if it would add it and it fucked my projects

@@JordWylde By go to NY I mean complete the WoNY manhunt, once Liberty Island is done you get your 40 projects.

@@eny68 aah i meant that as a reply to OP. Keeping a character solely in DC they had all projects, i did that but was missing summit etc

@@JordWylde In DC 40's have level 30 projects, going to NY you get only the WoNY projects until you complete Liberty, then you get the 40 projects.

I think this is what caused the crafting bench stuck on the superior level. My xbox wony character was at lvl 37 when this new update dropped, so I went to DC at lvl 37 without finishing the Keener mission. I hit lvl 40 in DC and noticed that crafting bench issue. I went back to NY and finished the Keener mission, but that didn't fix the bench issue, but It does show the projects on it. I made a new character and started in DC and leveled up to 40. New character has the watch leveled up SHD level is the same as my original character SHD 1300, but no projects.

I replied to you weeks back on your leveling video mentioning this bug. The only thing that has worked for us is a full NY clear. Just doing Keener didn't work. As for the mods in the inventory, that's because she had mods for a skill that she hadn't unlocked yet. Basically any mod for a non-default skill like decoy. Unlocking any variant of a skill, e.g. Shock Trap, will reveal all mods for that skill archetype.

I have a hard-core character that I started before the new updates and the new season but now I got to level 40 in Washington. I can’t even get into New York. It won’t let me yet. I go to the pilot and it just won’t send me to New York

I own wony expansion & had two old mule agents at level 31 & 32. I had to do wony missions in order to see my projects on both agents. However both agents have the crafting bench stuck at specialized with an upgrade available to superior. When I try to upgrade both agents it takes my money but doesn’t upgrade anything… tried to upgrade several times… same problem…. still stuck at specialized.

I just experienced the countdown bug yesterday. I was in the pentco map but the UI for countdown was missing.

i created a char and boosted to 30 via NY as i thought that was only way to boost then leveled to 40 in DC, realised it bugged the projects and annoyed me so i created a new character and boosted to 30 via DC and leveled to 40 there, had all projects BUT the summit, couldn't work out why it was the only one that was missing, so i travelled to NY thinking it would add it, and then the project bug went on that char and i had absolutely none again, seems that if you so much as set foot in NY it will remove all your projects until you complete the dlc which is annoying.

Bro help me i just started the expansion and now i can't play countdown, raids and incursion basically cant do any group activity this sucks so much i wish i saw this video befofe starting the expansion 😢😭😭😭😭

Wait, you can have a friend do other missions while you do a different one? i had no idea, only ever played with one person and we did missions together, but didn't know that was possible, if i ever have more than 1 friend i'll do that haha

Based on the title I thought this was going to be about how to restore the sounds of sumthin. Regarding the actual video content, seems kinda obviy. With all the triggers along the way.. running the expansion as normal seems most probable. 💯🤟🏼❣️
