The video is old. However, the process is still same for optimization. It's just that you can get materials very easily now to optimize. The best way to optimize is to use SHD watch to get resources and then crafting bench to convert them into the required materials for optimization.

When you go onto your expertise go onto the weapon class you want to expertise and then find the gun you want to expertise and hold A or X depending on which console your on and it will make it more proficient but after level 10 proficiency your gun will get a number by it with a armoured logo behind it letting you know it's added more weapon damage hope this helps

If you still need to farm a piece of gear, you still have to get that piece with all but one attribute or talent you need. I'm still looking for a piece to use with a dps build I haven't gotten yet.

Quick question i started back playing i try to optimise my back pack is at 10.9dmg and only optimise .1 each time so i still did it and still be 10.9 with the logo optimisation on the right someone could help? I dnt understand why it dnt go to 11 and i try it a couple time

Just farm for higher stats it makes life easy to optimize them and costs less resources.

I have a question bout the optimization station, let's say you get a hoster with max weapon damage, 3% CHC and 6% CHD so both 50% max rolls, is it the same cost to optimise both stats the additional 50% or not. I ask as the CHC would need 3% to cap but the CHD would need 6% to cap. So would a player be better off to recalibrate the CHC or the CHD before optimising or wouldn't it make any difference as they both need 50% even tho CHC would be 3% and CHD is 6% ???

That's probably a mod slot because they using improvised gear or the new "Chill Out" mask which has 2 mod slot.

This guide is unfortunately outdated. Also, you didnt cover the fact that in order to recalibrate anything, you need to extract from actual gear, and when extracting, IT DESTROYS THE GEAR…. Wish I fucking jnew that before destroying my beloved MP7 FFS

Yaaaay, finally they are introducing even more materials that force me to play fricking PVE!?!! Did they forget that we have a sht ton of useless trinkets!?!! Why not using these and adding stash space instead!? Anyways, in how far is the alloy from a machine gun different from an LMG or MMR??! We will again have 90% of the materials full all the time and miss certain resources, since weapons are poorly balanced and everyone will basically run the same gun and optimize it not giving a crap about shotguns or LMGs. F THIS GAME, I am done with it once and for all. Such a waste of time
