The first thing that would need to happen for me to consider DZ as a worthwhile activity is some sort of protection and mitigation towards solo players running into groups of players. I'm all for the eventual "dealing with a rogue", but I'm not all too hot for the somewhat constant "dealing with multiple rogues ganking on you"

I still think this is the greatest thing to happen to the dark zone for such a long time I'm a hardcore pvp fan and its so good to hear another pvp fan such as yourself to bring this into the light also the dz is the best place for a laugh and a sweat great video mate keep it up.

Would be much better if they added DZ resources as rewards to clearing Landmarks. Supply Drops, Manhunt Completion and Manhunt Denied (Based on Rank), This would really make a huge difference in DZ Farm and DZ PVP engagement even from PVE players going to hunt Rogue Agents. I have tweeted it to the Devs so let's see what happens.

Only real change I think is needed is for them to increase the amount of DZ resources you can carry, 999 was great up until now, but I think it should be upped with the rest of our resource capacities. Additionally, (And this is just a nitpick, but) I really think we shouldn't get the notification that we have "items in our stash" when it DZ resources and we're full on said DZ resources.

I have very few DZ resources. I don't spend much time in the DZ. Regarding exotic components, like the drop rate from Control Point chests, the DZ chest drop rate of 25% is highly questionable. The other day I did more than four landmarks - I think I did six - and opened the chests and didn't get a single exotic component. With a supposed drop rate of 25%, I should've gotten AT LEAST one.

The boxes not stained give a quote; "25% chance" end quote. This is not consistent, and given that I've hit over 1100 loot boxes in the DZ both in lvl 30 and 40 in the last few weeks, I'm pretty sure that's been reduced since the removal of double dipping the boxes (one guy keys, one guy picks it at the same time-thanks, offconstantly for screwing that up). Hope that clarifies which boxes are good.

it too i cant get on the game play as 4 my characters get delta 04 when i try load them on xbox and yes i did restart my xbox and netword unload game and reload game. i did on 2 xbox. but if log my son xbox game tag game works.. too bad not my game tag that work very long and hard to get levels and the gear i have

Its sad that the only really good thing about the DZ vendors are just the exotic caches, and the named items. They should do a complete revamp of the DZ vendors. Maybe not only add an exotic cache, but add other caches like named DZ cache

Do you have to go rogue to get the exotic components from the chests and does that trick about getting double components when two people open the chest at once?

I haven't heard of any such "trick," likely just superstition. You do not need to go Rogue, same drop chance regardless of how you open the chest 👍

It wasn't superstition, it was an actual thing until a couple months ago when a dick content creator blabbed to Yannick n co. It was patched a week later. But, after straying off topic, you could indeed double dip if your timing was good and potentially get two Exotic components, 2 DZ keys, and 2-4 items out of the boxes.

The Raid Exotics are not in these Exotic Caches, they have the same pool as the Countdown caches

No, but they do have a chance of dropping from random AI in the DZ. The occupied DZ seems to be more prevalent for drops, but I have been with groups that have had them drops from random AI kills.

Eagle bearer has a chance to drop in DZ zone but not in cache. I've seen it happen. So farm for that exotic from enemies

Because the premise of the Dark Zone is that it's offering better/more efficient rewards due to the threat of PVP being present. Higher risk higher reward. It's not meant to be a PVP brawl zone.

Eh, I think they have a lot more to go before I would even consider setting foot in that shitshow ever again. Farming DZ resources is painfully slow, and when you add in the potential to get ganked and lose it all, I'd much rather farm Countdown as 2 runs will net you slightly more than you need for an exotic cache. Alternatively, Descent rewards are also much better now and the Nemesis is a guaranteed cache + other goodies. Which reminds me, is the St. Elmo's in the general loot pool yet?

@Kindness-tk6no 5 is the most you can buy with one full inventory of DZ Resources, 999/170 = 5.87. So if you spent all of those you'd need to go replenish DZ Resources to buy more

I've tended to stay away from the DZs in game... due to the rampant number of gank squads that would lurk around the entrances and simply roam the map just killing any random player that had the misfortune to cross their path. I've lost quite a few nice hauls, and some god roll set items, from those gank squads. Get it the extraction only for them to swoop in and kill me. Even tried setting off one extraction area and then high tailing it to another one... with the same results.

True true. I got most of my dz items by buying named item caches with my countdown currency. Recently got the dark winter and the gift. On top of that I'm on PC. So the dark zone is a big no no for me.

I mean Countdown can be quite a shitshow as well. I think I experience more frustration in countdown than the DZ. If you encounter a gank group, you can just go to a different DZ, but the countdown shitties are forever

Pvp in this game is among the worst I've ever seen winning in this isnt even a matter of being good. it's just gear shd and expertise nobody who is newer can have a good time playing dark zone or conflict

SHD Levels and Expertise get disabled when you enter into Conflict, so I would try that if you want a more balanced experience 👍 They also have added SHD Level brackets to the Dark Zones, so up to SHD 1000 you only match with people of a similar level
