You can use any sheer netting type fabrics: e.g. chiffon, tulle, nylon net, organza. Note: audition the different colored options for very different results. Also, keep in mind these are man made fabrics (eg nylon, polyester, etc) and so are NOT heat safe. Use only for decor.

@@ursulabutscher9322 Your welcome. I think I misunderstood your question. The white part on which she's ironing the snippets is a fusible product. Most likely a fusible batting or fusible fleece. Alternatively you could just use a temporary spray adhesive or even dots of children's washable school glue. You only need to hold the snippets down long enough to lay the netting on top and quilt it all.
