I recently used the Pocket 3 on a shoot in a hard to reach area.... and the footage is great for my purpose. I also used it ( same session ) to follow the CEO as he walked and I followed.

Great video. Subscribed. I’m a huge fan of the OP3. It is my main KZbin and Social Media marketing machine. I hope the next version has two built in lenses like the newer drones.

Another great creation, Paul. I shot in Normal color mode, continuous focus and Auto WB when my 5 grandkids went to a trampoline center this past weekend. I wanted to see what the footage looked like without me having to do anything but shoot and upload to FCPX. It was beautiful. I don’t think ISO went over 800 but the clips were all clear and really flawless. I had some focus hunting but that was easily taken out in post. A brilliant little camera that is as easy to pack around as an iPhone but much more versatile, in my opinion. Thanks for this content! Jim

Thanks again Jim, appreciate your support! Glad to see you’re able to use it for family videos as well as your work. As you say it’s very versatile and the pictures are brilliant. Hope you keep getting joy out of using it as I do. Thank again for watching!! 👍

@@PaulGarrity just took it outside for a test run on a local hike and I'm very impressed! Face tracking is great and the audio records really well with or without the mic. Also using the case as a mic holder is an unexpectedly helpful addition!

Pretty dope video. Enjoyed all the b roll and music. I just grabbed a p3 a few days ago and it's pretty impressive. I'm slow to record in 4k and I think I'm going to regret it but I'm still shooting in 1080.

Thank you! When it comes to ND filters, I’m a fan of keeping it simple. So I went for a set from K&F. I just want light control and the standard 4, 8, 16 & 32 work great. And with the solid variable ISO in camera, I find that combo works. I hope that helps! 👍
@raveen2511892 ай бұрын
For the nd, would u recommend the k&f nd filter or the k&f nd/pl version.
@PaulGarrity2 ай бұрын
Hi, it’s entirely up to you on the effect you’d like. For me personally, I just use a standard ND filter. I like to shoot the image as I see it and edit/grade later. Because polarisers tend to alter the image, it’s not the look I’m after. Hope that helps 👍
@raveen2511892 ай бұрын
@PaulGarrity can I know, how does it alter the image? I just got the nd/pl, but I could return it back and get the normal nd.
@PaulGarrity2 ай бұрын
@raveen251189 Polarisers are artistic filters. They cause shifts in colour and light - for example they make the blue skies more intensely blue. But the effect changes when you turn the filter. But the downside is some of the light is blocked to the sensor and you can lose light stops. But if the intention is to make it look ‘arty’ then it’s perfect. But I don’t use PL ND’s. I’m also not a fan of the added complexity of getting the polariser dialled in. But many people love them. It’s all down to preference 👍
@raveen2511892 ай бұрын
@@PaulGarrity thank you so much for the help. I shall try it out a few days and maybe return them and get the normal nd. Thank you so much

It's a shame DJI couldn't or wouldn't make their Action Pro 5 equivalent in video quality.
@PaulGarrity2 ай бұрын
Yeah the action cameras do tend to lack that finish, you’re right. The P3 really has shocked me at its shift in quality - totally bucks the trend!
@AskIveSolar2 ай бұрын
The channel gemini connect made a point that the one inch sensor being so wide on an action camera would make minimum focus length more awful than it is already. Never heard anyone mention that logic before. True or not, it's interesting
