Well, there's the To The Moon saga(To the Moon and Finding Paradise) which was made on rpg maker and To The Moon is the only game that has made me cry

I never found it surprising for rpg maker games to be enjoyable, bc that's how they were when I was first introduced to KZbin let's plays and gaming. Back then there was an explosion of games around that time made in rpg maker style that got real popular: Mad Father, Ib, Misao, To the Moon, The Crooked Man, Corpse Party and Pom Gets WiFi etc. Ib and Mad Father basically spearheaded the explosion in fame for games like these, especially rpgm horror, and had huge cult-followings. Idk if it's just 2011-2013 being the peak in popularity for these types of games. For some time afterwards there didn't seem to be any new rpgm games created and eventually I started to dwell in other fan spaces for stuff like animation. So I don't know about the recent state of rpgm style games, though i've heard of Angels of Death being a relatively recent one that's doing decent in terms of popularity. Good enough to see several vids above 100K views but definitely far from the heights that Ib, Mad Father and To the Moon had created back then.

Look ere' bud - when I've been ad-lib translating the crappy Engrish in the game for so long, I'm gonna leave everything in the air while I multitask Playing/recording/translating and giving commentary in what is meant to be quick and efficient, while doing a crapton of things at the same time since many things were either completely off or misworded among other things.
