Hey man, I'm gonna let you in on a little secret. Not everything you see on the internet is true, so if you're going to comment on a video do some research, or atleast do more than provide your opinion on information that is meticulously gathered to push a narrative. Anyways, this also sounded very weird to me, so I searched a little bit and here's what I found. There was a gang member that the cops were looking for, and Leon fit the description that they were given. The cops pull Leon over, he complies by pulling over instantly and providing identification. For some reason the cops did not accept his identification, and on top of that he was questioned for 20 minutes. Here's where stuff gets messy. Leon got scared and drove off without permission. Long story short one of the cops got dragged after they held onto the driver's side door and from what I can tell shot him after they crashed because "they thought he was reaching for a gun." So I'll sum it all up. There were tons of issues with how this went down. The cop lied about his injuries, he may have lied about seeing Leon reach for something, and he not only kept Leon there for far too long, but also didn't accept the proof of identification for some unknown reason. But Leon did also illegally flee the scene which put him in a dangerous situation. I one million percent do not understand why the cop decided that the only way to restrain him was to shoot him. From what I understand, while both sides were to blame, this does seem like an example of injustice. That's what I know

I just saw a video where it shows two cops and a car behind him talkin and the one says is that him is that Lamont Ford and the other one says I think it is and then they both agree it's someone named Lamont Ford . He showed them proof that his name was Leon Ford , not Lamont . Then a cop leaning in the front passenger side thought he saw a bulge in Leon's pants ; thinking it was a gun the cop moved in close to him on the passenger seat and then on the other side a cop was trying to pull him out and Leon freaked out and took off . I agree this is NEVER OK in any situation. All the excuses for the cop you can save them bc he signed up for all those factors in the career he chose. There's a video that shows the cops in the car behind his car talking and the one says is that him is that Lamont Ford ? And the other one is saying yeah I think that's him and then they both agree it is Lamont . He proved he was not Lamont Ford . One cop on the passenger side thought he saw a bulge in his pants and figured it was a gun so then that cop moved in on to the passenger side of the car . Ford's lawyer argued if you think someone's got a gun on them do you really move in closer to them ? When the cops were trying to get him out of the car he panicked and took off and they shot . I hope he got millions out of a lawsuit at least
