OMG, the way that man was sobbing with relief just about killed me! I still know people who believe that climate change is a hoax and I don't understand how they can watch these scenarios of extreme weather over and over and just shrug and think it's a mystery as to why these events are occurring. They just want to believe anything and everything the oil industry tells them, it's maddening.

I'm from Brazil and I couldn't keep back the tears... it's a heartbreaking example of what happens when a great number of people face the consequences of human action over the environment (and inaction to prepare for the worst). There was also a horse, Caramel, rescued after being stranded for days on a roof! There are countless personal stories of tragedy and still some of hope, and I can only skim the news to keep my mental health. All I can say is thank you for shining a light ❤

Going from laughing to crying in milliseconds. The howling dog on the piano, so plaintive. And the adopted dog right after that just broke my heart. Every one of them was just great. You do such a good job and I'm sure you always have such a rich field of choices because dogs and dog lovers are the best.

My heart goes out to everyone in Brazil affected in any way by the floods. The last story says everything we need to know. Brave rescuers saving humans, but going back to their homes and rescuing undoubtedly afraid animals, reuniting them with their families. The lady crying when she was reunited with her dog in Brazil, and the old man with his four dogs cuddling him… 😭😭❤️ so sweet! I also had a housemates dog who got stuck in the bathroom! She walking into the toilet room and shut the door accidentally. We realised we hadn’t seen her for a moment, and that the toilet door was closed. Opened it and she walked out wagging her tail.
