Wow! Nne you did justice to this topic. So interesting. I have learnt a lot of things I didn't know especially the meanings of the names of our market days. The big market days in my place are Afo Ogbe and Afo Oru. Chai! I trust that rice that didn't enter eke market day was so delicious 😀

Wow I love Igbo tradition but didn’t know some of the things you said about Eke. But we don’t really consider this in my community. Igbo tradition is really deep. I have people who keep all the traditions. This is interesting 🤔

Our major market day is Nkwo umuoba and Ekeonuwa. But why didn't the Eke enter the rice? Is not fair ooo, Eke should have entered the rice now.
