coast guys need to chill with this road, this road has always been destined for opening in July latest, the other deadlines were just fununu and the more you listen to them the more you as locals will be disappointed and start getting agitated. let the engineers finish up on testing those bridges and installing the road furniture of signs, markings and final tarmac layers. bure you will end up with a badly done road like the one entering mombasa through makupa bridge , i know you guys have been waiting for years and are excited to have a new road but don't trust these fake deadlines, one thing about the Japanese is that they complete projects ON TIME not earlier and not later, vile contract inasema ndio watafanya, they dont move like chinese sasa mtulie

I get that brother, but the truth is that it was even supposed to be done by last year but they keep on postponing. The contractors are doing what they can though and the road quality is good.

@@mosegeminitv i understand bro, but pls check again the contract requirements that the japanese were given and were signed, phase 3 was to be done by last year yes,which they actually completed last year kujenga hio barabara with only road furniture and final tarmac layer left ndio watu wasiitumie vibaya while they work on phase 2, but phase 2 which is more crucial to the project as it has those two main bridges was to be completed this year and full project handover was between may and august with july being the most likely month. contractors wako tu sawa and they are following agreed timelines, i know umeona those top politicians and senior Kenha officials all over the news wakisema some funny deadlines but that is political speak to give the masses something so that they can seem to be working and they can relieve pressure on them from the public, ata nimeona in the video that street lights za phase 3 zimewaka and it seems sasa wameanza road furniture ya phase 3, good thing is by the holiday season when mombasa tourism is peak you will be having a new shiny road for the great ppl of coast, Continue updating us Bro, good luck.

@plausiblethings6579 you might be right coz i once visited the sight early this month and one of the contractors told me that the road will be opened in three months time (August)..bt the truth is that it'll be opened in September 4th or there about when the president will be coming to open the Mombasa ASK show...Mimi hata nilishajiuzulu na kuvinjika morali..wafanye vile wanataka lakini mwisho watafunguwa tu hata kama ni mwaka ujao.
