I don't feel any donkeys were saved in this video. The first donkey still has ringworm, a fungus that is HIGHLY contagious, and is penned with other donkeys and is why her fur is falling out all over her body. The mare needs a medicated shampoo and topical fungal treatment. She is still significantly emaciated and needs to be on a refeeding program where she is guaranteed access to her own food she does not need to fight for and she should be quarantined from the other donkeys to prevent the spread of the ringworm anyway. Her hooves. . . . . .obviously there was significant issues to the point her legs were bending in ways they should to compensate for her hooves. There should not be blood or redness in the hooves. My personal opinion is he should have taken more hoof off in some areas, depending on the softness and if any spots showed pain to the mare. The feet were still left long and unbalanced, even for traditional Chinese methods of trimming. You could easily tell by the length that this was an ongoing issue that had not been attended to for a long period of time. I am not here to hate on the farriers as this is likely nt their animal and they were called in to do a job, but the animal is not safe from harm and still has significant health concerns that need to be addressed and I didn't see an effort to address those issues before the farrier and there was no talk of addressing them after the farrier. The mares coat/hair will continue to fall out and if she did not get ringworm (a fungus that can make circles or rings) then she will pass it to every other donkey in the pen easily and humans can get it as well. She also needs so much weight and they said she didn't have strength to fight back so how will she fight another donkey for food? Even if she is for meat purposes there is no meat on her and a human can get ringworm by touching her. I feel bad for the donkey.

The absolute cruelty these animals go through is heart wrenching. Why the hell won't anyone do something about this? And I'm not talking about the hoof trimming, that's not the issue. It's the inhumane treatment, disregard and lack of food and clean housing at the very least these creatures go through. Why does KZbin allow these videos?
