The problem is they could have thrown more power at it, but at higher speeds that undercarriage and track design would have failed due to the bogey/road wheels impacting obstacles and failing under the immense weight of that monster. I'm surely no expert on tanks, but I've worked on enough tracked tractors to understand why these break in super rough fields. They would have had to make room for motors and cooling, and beef up that undercarriage to support single tracks, even if they kept the dual drive setup. It would have been nuts to see such a monster properly constructed for 25 mph. Tanks that big are just not feasible. Imagine getting 110 tons stuck that is 40 feet long in an active warzone and there's nothing in the nation big enough to pull it out aside from another one? And I'm by no means trying to argue, just voicing my thoughts. This thing was cool as shit but like many military concepts needed a lot more work to make it practical.

You are wrong about the ammunition for the a10 whorthog. They fire 30mm shells, and having a twenty millimeter barrel is enough to be classified as a cannon.

As someone who was attached to a artillery unit during my time int he Reserves I can say that if a commander wanted an entire grid square annihilated a single 105 could spit out a good number of shells in minutes I believe the record for reloading a 105 my unit wanted a artillery piece reloaded was less then a minute

My favourite American tank is the Sherman just because of the sheer numbers put out and the engineering/ production. But my favourite tank of all time is the "Mother" something about the old steampunk looking tanks gets me 😂

The U.S. put a 105mm howitzer in a M4. The M4A3E7 (I think this is the right number) was designated an assault tank. Bunker busting and infantry support were it's main roll and as a late war configuration there weren't very many made.

Funnist War Thunder video I saw was from, I think Squirrel, he does a lot of simulator video, like MS Flight, American & Euro Truck Sim, stuff like that, but he had a video from 11 years ago on War Thunder, when on April 1st, they made Ponies as Jets. It was also a massive XP farm.

the Churchhill Crocodile is my tank of choice mainly for how far its flamethrower can reach. like 120 meters depending on wind. thats rediculous.

This is not a tank. The T-28 GMC is what is it named.....a gun motor carriage. Meaning its a Motorized Gun Carriage. A carriage that has a gun and has a motor, also know as a self propelled gun (SPG). All things used to label artillery pieces that can move themselves and don't need horses or trucks to tow them around. A tank is not an artillery piece. It has a different role in the army. Unlike most mobile artillery pieces though this thing is set up for direct fire only.

It was a heavy tank when it was named T28. They renamed it T95 as a GMC in 45. Then they renamed it back to T28, but this time (1946) it was called super heavy tank, T28.

At 10:44 you mention the A10, do you mean the warthog? If so, you should react to his video on that next, because he shows a pic of it next to a car, and a car is half it's length. Yeah, it's not Just a gatling gun. Also, the "bullets" are taller than fucking beer bottles, he shows pic of that too.

Bo-Time Gaming is the best war thunder KZbinr. Has over 2k videos on his channel. Most are just pure uncoordinated chaos and panic with a few existential debates thrown in from left field for added flavor.
