I must confess. Don’t crucify me, people, but I don’t quite “get” The Dooo or whatever he’s called. Simply because, yes he’s a good guitar player. BUT. He has tons of pedals, loop effects, and a ton of other tech to get him to sound so good. For example, when he played “9 to 5” notice he played the backing rhythm, which was then auto-looped so he could play the lead too, making it sound OTT good. Reality is, there are TONS of great guitarists who play to a similar level. Does he bring anything new and mind-blowing to the table, like H-Mack or JS Magic? No. Sadly not. He’s way overrated. Nothing new or amazing, if you’re “in the industry”. And before people all say, “could you do any better?”, better.... I’m not sure. But I can play my Fender Strat equally well. As can many of my mates. Just sayin’.

I cant verify it but seems he was one of the first to get popular from it. Ofcourse he loops. Alot of "solo performers " have to. I dont see him trying to step on others toes. He's entertaining people. Shouldn't be any problems with that.

@@GBrimstone Absolutely - he’s entertaining ppl; no problem with that. I just think that people are more impressed that they need to be, if they knew how many equally good guitarist there are around, and how much “tech” helps guitarists sound more amazing than has ever been the case, that’s all. He’s playing decent guitar, with ‘assistance’; not moving forward the boundaries, with some new, amazing talent. That’s all I’m saying.

@@prs149 No I have not seen the vid where he plays “his own songs”, but I would love to see it, because I’m passionate about good guitar playing. Or any instrument, come to that. As I said, I knew I would get elated in comments, just for expressing my opinion. Jealousy has NOTHING to do with it. I so look up to ppl who play guitar, better tan I do. More power to them. I’m just saying that ppl need to know how these systems work. But you helped prove my point, my friend, that I can’t express my opinion, and help ppl understand how guitar playing really works, without being accused of jealousy and so on. Seriously, I’m just expressing my opinion, dude. Jealousy has zero to do with it. But thanks for confirming my thoughts of what would happen if I post.... immediate dissing,, aimed at my freedom of expression. C’mon man, use your critical thinking.... I wasn’t dissing anybody.
