To think.....recorded live...give that person a prize. Love the raw sound. It heats up entirely at 15:19. You hear the crowd respond and applaud on the opening chords of 'Light My Fire'. Well yeah.

I met the Doors minus Jim when I worked at ABC auto body in Huntington Park Ca. while we worked on their box truck late 60's.

Jim was in a grumpy disposition as I recall. The LA Forum was maxed out and they had a live horn section on stage with for the various songs. This is in December and they had played the Hollywood Bowl in July so the City of Angeles had gotten a couple decent shows from them in 1968. The soft Parade would come out in the summer of 1969. Morrison was behaved and people had attended hoping for some revolution but got Celebration in stead . In the summer they would perform the Aquarius Theatre shows and it was an uneventful year .

Apparently, it was recorded by somebody in the audience with a very cheap tape recorder in their pocket.
