Hello friends! Thanks for your patience this week, I really wanted my first Doors lesson to be one that breaks down the full tune, solo and all! Thanks so much to my patrons for the support and guidance, you can grab the official tab at: www.patreon.com/posts/doors-people-are-7251592

Hey thank you very much for lovely lesson. It was realy fun and healful for learning, but i think you missed open "b" in the end of the 3rd part of solo, i mean when you slide down you are showing that after that we should start with 3rd of "b" but actually you are playing 3rd of "b" after the open "b". Can you tell me wich one is correct please?
@danielschumacher3294 жыл бұрын
swiftlessons ❤️🎸✊🏼 Thank you so much❗️ The Doors‘s 2nd Vinyl (from 6 with Jim) is so good! Do you know the LP‘s AFTER JIM?! (I do not, but the Cover of the 7th record is „interesting“ 😆, but i don’t know the Sound and the Kind of Voice of Jim, POSTUM) ...i Love to buy vinyls all the time❤️ Ok, again -> Thanks for the time you invested ❗️🎸 Daniel.

Hey thanks Mustafa, that’s the goal, so glad I delivered. This song made me a better guitarist, and so it was a real pleasure to teach. Many more are on the way both here and of course via Patreon.com/Swiftlessons. Be well!

I am a Ukulele player, acoustic guitar player, singer song writer kind of thing with some ability to play blues and jam a bit, but I recently got asked to start playing rhythm in a band with electric guitar and I have to admit, I have so much to learn. From the right tone, to mixing the tone depending on what I am doing, the dynamics, how hard to strum, layering rhythm, harmony and melody, finding new voicings for chords, etc etc. Not only are these lessons great for learning a classic song but it really opens up my eyes into how I can layer guitar parts and add to a song with out taking away from it, I apply these ideas to progressions we play, and it helps a ton. That is a verbose thank you! Have you done any lessons on layering guitar parts? That would be great. I am going over to Patreon right now to sign up too, what a great platform for people like us to be able to teach and get help from the fans, and on and on. Looking forward to supporting your quality work man. Cheers.

This is so thorough, I'm learning it very quickly. I cannot learn by seeing fingers on frets/strings, I need things called out. Also I am left-handed and so visuals do nothing, unless I'm looking at someone playing left-handed :) Thanks so much!
@1Keef8 жыл бұрын
Thanks Rob. I have learned this song through other teachers on KZbin and I can unequivocally state that yours is the most accurate and complete lesson on KZbin hands down. Great job! You also sound eerily like Jim Morrison.
@swiftlessons8 жыл бұрын
Thank you, that means a lot. This song particular, I felt, needed a more comprehensive lesson, so I was happy to provide it. I spent a lot of time listening to his isolated vocal, which is impossible to match (I don't drink or smoke anywhere near enough to have his rasp). Luckily for me, my voice falls into this baritone range, so an easy fit... but don't ask me to sing led zeppelin haha!
@1Keef8 жыл бұрын
You sound like the younger Morrison in the Doors earlier albums where his voice wasn't ravaged by drugs or alcohol. If there is ever a Doors cover band created (like the Beatles) , I think you have Jim Morrison role clinched :).
