did anyone notice that at 23:00 (approx) the dude across the street staring at Jordan filming the front of the (now) grocery (then, HRC bar) leans against the same light pole as Robby Krieger in the old photo and even strikes the exact same pose? That is the "no-good-neighborhood-leanin'-pole!" It just calls people to lean against it...

I really dug the inside story of the Morrison Hotel album cover! Not only were the Doors one of the most innovative rock bands in their era, but they created the world's first ROCK ALBUM COVER GUERRILLA PHOTO SHOOT. Brilliant! Thanks for making this video!

I mentioned above that someone has updated the location and now they've reinstalled the glass and painted back on the Morrison Hotel logo, as well as putting up the two black signs that were on either side of the entrance to the right of the window. It's pretty cool to see it get a face lift to a portion of that eras look, behind the window is still boarded up.

Wow!! Growing up, the Doors was my oldest brother's favorite group; which made Jim Morrison, my favorite! He had the best lips and an amazing voice! lol Great Video Jordan! I totally enjoyed it! I didn't see Mama Cass's; reflection in the window! What I did see and was fascinated by was the rooms for $2.50! (I loved the Chris Paul, story as well! Those sneakers are amazing!) 👍🎸👍🏀👍

You probably already know this but.....I'm pretty sure the Morrison Hotel location has been updated and it looks like even though it's still boarded up, they reinstalled the glass back in place, and they painted the Morrison Hotel logo back on it. They also put up the black rectangular MH signs that were on either side of the entrance again. You should to consider tagging on an update to this vlog, it'd be cool to update the locations current condition. It's just a suggestion, it would really enhance the vlog to have it updated like, even if it's just an excuse for you see see it again in better shape.

I remember driving by the Morrison Hotel in the early 2000's and there was a tall vertical sign with the name of the hotel on the side of the building. It is apparently gone now.

We went over to Paris in 2012 for my daughters wedding. I went to Jim & Pams apartment, Pe're LaChaise, And pretty much walked in Jims footsteps in and around his neighborhood including his favorite park where he liked to read and sitting next to the river Seine. Fantastic trip.

I had seen the 2 places taking the Blue Line. It was dangerous being in the middle of Skid Row an I have heard it is even worse now. You were lucky to make it through safely..
