This is pretty damn rad…stays true to the original enough to be identifiable, but changes just enough to bring something very cool and new to the table. Waiting for the Sun was the first Doors song I ever heard, that was almost 30 years ago, I’m still obsessed.

Everything of this remix is authentic, 100% original by The Doors, nothing else added. Just totally scrambled up into a new editing but absolutely authentic from November 1969 master tape. Ray's Moog synthesizer, Gibson G-101, RMI Electrapiano and Robby's Gibson Les Paul custom P-90 slide bottleneck, really shine through this new mix. I'd wish it be published on CD, so marvellous it is.

@@sam8404 The synths are all authentic from Ray Manzarek, played in November 1969 when finishing the song in studio. I have a multi-track of the original song, there are exactly these two Moog synths on separate tracks, plus a Gibson G-101 Kalamazoo combo organ, plus a RMI Electrapiano or Rock-si-chord electric piano/harpsichord all by Manzarek. Then slide guitar by Krieger, bass by Ray Neapolitan, drums by Densmore, double-track vocals by Morrison. Nothing was added in this remix, all original instruments and double vocals.
