Those basses of his have extraordinary pipe organ like sound. They resonate in a way that's easy to see how they can bouy a full philharmonic orchestra as well as a tight jazz ensemble with the same aplomb. Makes me wish I had taken up the double bass when I was a kid.😞

However, if I could get my hands on one of those English beauties of yours, I can't help but believe that the journey would be enjoyable, irrespective of the level of learning achievement. 👍
