Jay White is over as a Heel. He's New Japan's Top Heel. He should be the guy to take the Dual Championships if not Ibushi. Jay White should be compensated for the work he has put in and barely getting a rematch for the title he lost headlining Madison Square Garden. Breathe with the Switchblade.
@TheInspectorDilfordDa3rd5 жыл бұрын
@@TriplomatX I think Ibushi is more than likely going to end up the Double Champ if not Naito. Jay's been great but New Japan literally was trying to get a fulltime signed Ibushi for a pretty long time and finally got it. It seems like them keeping the belt on Okada soo much stems from not being able to get Ibushi to commit fulltime so since he is now they can possibly experiment with Ibushi being champ. Naito doesn't have much time left also so him becoming double champ also would make sense seeing as this could be the conclusion in Naito's journey to finally getting that definitive victory over a dominant Okada.

I love the irony of the fan vote. In 2013 Naito had all the momentum but zero support. He won G1 beating Tana in the final defended his contract and was the reigning Never title. But the fans didn't care about it and no one wanted him to win. Now it's the opposite. He has no momentum but all the support. He has no proper claim to be involved as he lost to Jay and didn't win G1 but this time all the fans are behind him and want him to win. The fan vote that robbed him of his dream is finally what may allow him to achieve it.
@joepod5 жыл бұрын
@@anoopsingh4825 I don't see any evidence that Naito now has "the support". Most Japanese fans are saying "Naito lost the G1, and he lost the IC title. The whole point is its supposed to be the opposite of his first try at becoming champion at WK. Back at Power Struggle 2013 in Osaka Naito came out at the end to challenge okada and the crowd gave zero shits about it. Here it's clearly different. Idk where your getting that the fans not want him to win. The last time we saw them fighting each other was 2 years ago. Meanwhile we already see Jay vs okada, okada vs ibushi, Naito vs ibushi, and Jay vs Naito earlier this year. Obviously njpw is saving the match for Okada and Naito. Storyline wise this will be epic Okada also intentionally mentioning the poll incident to Naito. He is targeting Naito from the beginning. Naito also need to get revenge from his lost to Jay. This is the best time for him. Njpw also won't let ibushi to loose the title after a day he win the title. This will hurt his image as champion. The last time ibushi fighting okada he got away with the win. Its normal for Okada to make the score even by defeating him in wk.
