I’m not gonna lie, I’ve become a big collector of decorations/obstacles. I never understood having multiple decorations of the same type tho. I cry at night whenever I remember how I removed the rare ones. Awesome vid btw.

I removed all the special obstacles until 2020 (i am playing since 2013) when i realised i want to collect the decorations instead. But i can no longer go back and claim them again. I removed it because there was just no space for my actual buildings, so i removed every single one

I agree, it has gotten out of hand with too many added too quick. I actually really like that idea of a decoration museum, and that would make a sweet update. I have almost every free decoration ever released, with the exception of the crashed sleigh, and a couple of the recent special event ones. I made sure I at least got the Triumphant Trophy though. I also have all the War League statues, and they are my most prized possessions in the game. I have never spent a single penny on the game in the 11 years I’ve been playing, so I have no paid decorations. I love getting new cool decorations and obstacles, but there is such a thing as too much too fast.

It’s so unfair that I started to collect these statues around the time the anchor and the pirate scenery came out just for them to come back to the shop TWICEEEE NOW. It feels like the decision they made and the logic behind was “oh you know the anchor is not so cool in our eyes so here you go back in the shop” but all other statue didn’t came back even if it was just a snowmen… really sad and frustrating.. all of my friends and me included cry at night sometimes thinking about the DRAGON SPITTING FIRE decoration we never had

I think the devs did say in a blogpost that a Decoration Mode might be added into the game in the near future and might replace the Active Village screen in order to show off more. One of their biggest hurdles is that they want players to access every building when logging in, so more menus might be needed.

The more decoration they will give the more enjoy we would do with a lot of decorations to make our base a museum. After 10 years they will be a little bit of show off thing, at least you will feel happy to collect them 10 years back

I prefer quality over quantity they are releasing too many and that takes away the value and appreciation at the halland event there were 5 statues and an obstacle and in my opinion they are all horrible

Thing to mention the more obstacle they gave the less space we get for new obstacles to grow (since the limit is 45) hence less free gems.

Yea space is really becoming a big issue. Have been trying to sort my obstacles and decorations by season, but I am running out of space for "neutral" decorations in between the season areas. Also I like that decorations are time limited, but it also makes me very sad about the 10 or so I missed from not being able to pay for them or being inactive for a few months

it extremely sucks, since the cookie rumble event, near all new decorations are bad. Not specifically because of their look, but there is nothing special about them. I want some new decorations with sounds or small animations like in the past, i mean if they can bring a new th lvl. every year now, why not put some more effort into the decorations? 😢 Nice Vid bro!

Yes I misses all this, unbuyable decoration by normal players, the fact that 60% to 80% of the seasonal currency you have to spend on one-time epic equipment Cause you to choose bitwin one decoration and some resources. I would never have guessed that for the 12th anniversary we would only get 650 currency after purchasing epic equipment that costs 3150, it's not normal we always got more free stuff on the anniversary than this year

Getting 1 decoration each event is enough, why we need like 3-4 decorations in a single event? Like, 1 for the pass is like, okay, but we don't need a lot (I'm not saying about the one that we get after completing the event)

I started playing Clash of Clans in September 2023, a little before the Mashup Madness event. I can totally see why people are upset about how many decorations there are, but I don't mind it. I think that these events, such as Clash With Haaland, will become a monthy thing, with at least two decorations added every time. I'm sure that some players will complain that it's too much, but I like it. Adding small new content and doing events at this super fast rate definitely keeps players engaged more, so I get why they're doing it. In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with doing these events every month. There's not much to complain about because it is just more free stuff even though there is an event pass.

Ngl I see these event decorations as something hinders my heroes equipment progress lol They don't have cool effects, just sitting there make you wonder why you waste your resources on them while you can get ores to make progress. Unless you're a dolphin or whale, who don't mind buying the extra event currency from the shop. Those decorations are just a scam XD & also giving you unnecessary FOMO feeling pressuring you to spend money.

to be honest, make coc seperate from real life is not the REAL REASON to remove the nation flags. Instead, it is because of Russia and Ukraine war. not only coc, many games change things about Russia, like 8 ball pool, there is a Moscow stage in the past, it got removed and replaced by other city name after the war started.

Lots of people use decos as badges of honor and to show other what a veteran they are( along side obsticales) Is their reason to keep playing even in this diferent direction that the game takes , im one of them ,when you devaluate these one of a kind parts of the game , it makes us quit or lose interest on keep playing :/
