But you didnt even get ratted?? You "verified" for a dungeon vc. A rat is a remote access trojan aka a downloaded or usb uploaded malware program that steals passwords and credentials from your pc. usually from browser activity cookies etc. And to prevent this all you need to realize is that they cant use YOUR reset password or login single use code to verify you as its only use is to log in to your minecraft/microsoft account. Im pretty sure they even state in the emails microsoft sends you that you shouldnt use this info on any of their non official sites

The community calls it ratting because there are so many skids doing it who mislabel what they are doing. Also the reason people fall for it is because Microsoft is very bad at telling you that it’s a OTP (one time password) code that they are sending you in the email as they call it a “security code” in the email.

Don't need to be sorry! It was my own fault. Thankfully I managed to salvage the items before they took over the account. I was stupid and didn't think what I was doing could end bad. Thank you for your comment tho ❤️

Almost fell once for this, some guy said to vouch after f5 carries, i joined the server but the he left. I thought "cool server lets join" i entered my info and they sent me the code, thats when i got suspicious. Also someone tried it on me again but i knew and alerted the party before getting p kicked
