I get tired of some kpop fans abusing words like "flop" or "downfall". Twice are literally selling out stadiums and people complain because their dont chart k charts. It's not a downfall but a generational shift. It happened to 1st gen, 2nd gen and now 3rd gen. People are more invested on 4th gen right now and only a couple of groups have avoided this shift. Twice has also shifted their concepts from vute to mature amd what made them famous was their cute concepts. Imo, Twice are doing way better than a lot of existing k idol groups even without charting in k charts.

Obviously twice at their peak we’re very popular, but kpop fans taste in music changes and group debut along the years and there’s a huge selection of groups that can cater to your taste instead of twices music.

Twice is touring, releasing new songs that are of steady quality, and don't face accusations of being lazy or unskilled. Think you've got it backwards K-pop hasn't passed on Twice, Twice has passed on K-pop. K-pop doesn't care how good you are they care how old you are or how long you've been around. Girl Generation proved that when they came back put out a bop in Forever 1 that lasted what a month then gone. K-pop is about being young not just being good. That's why the companies keep finding younger and younger Idols hoping they will make money for them longer. Twice has a solid fan base in Korea, they still sell out their concerts there, but they have become international stars they sell out STADIUM's across the world they don't need to depend on Korean fans to make money any more, they know what's up. They are fine with moving on and letting the younger groups have their time, it's the way of K-pop. Twice may be out in K-pop but they planned ahead and I as a ONCE will get to enjoy them for years to come. OT9 forever.

TWICE is still going strong even after an impressive 8 years in the KPOP scene. Even after 8 years in the industry, they are still pretty much popular and iconic. While they may not have the same level of dominance as they did during the prime of their generation, they still continue to hold an undeniable and substantial presence, with a massive and devoted fanbase. They've gracefully passed the torch to the younger and fresher groups, yet they remain an integral part of KPOP as part of KPOP's household names. There is no downfall at all. Instead, they've evolved and matured, as has their sound and concept, mirroring the growth of their audience. It's a natural progression. n my perspective, older and veteran groups like TWICE no longer need to obsess over chart rankings. They've carved their names into KPOP history and have left their marks after all. It's about passing on the legacy and allowing newer talents to flourish. It's time to graciously step aside and make way for the new generation. TWICE will always be iconic and unwavering. They're more focused on expanding their reach and going on tours rather than chart. Sure they still do, but I doubt, at this point with their 5th World Tour, it would still be part of their highest priorities. Remember, the music industry is always changing and is very competitive. I, as a ONCE for 8 years, am just glad they're still active to this day. It's honestly tiring to see people say they've reached their downfall when they so clearly haven't. Although there are some points I do agree in, "downfall" is not the word to describe them. They are still and will remain successful.
