There’s a lot of breaks on this statue from others who got this. It was just not engineered well. It’s unfortunate but this is why people are going off licensed products. They just keep dropping the ball. From the inflated price tag to poor quality. The 3rd party resin companies are just really a better route. Really unfortunate. Sorry to hear about your issues.

Yeah unfortunately I’m still working on getting a replacement. The studio sent one and that came broken. I probably won’t ever buy from them again, but have been lucky form other studios not having any major breaks

I'm really sorry to hear that. That's terrible! I've had similar experiences with Tsume Arts many times before. It's really disappointing, and it resulted in me never buying from Tsume Arts again. I hope everything gets sorted out for you. It's frustrating to see this issue with the statue consistently affecting other buyers as well, including those in groups and on KZbin.

@@StarMan78 Is tsume that bad? I just got a Frieza from them and everything went well, but want to collect the full Dragon Ball Z line they are doing. I am hoping the tail can get fixed soon, because it is such a cool statue and would want it whole.

I've noticed some recurring issues with Tsume products as well as a few friends of mine who have purchased from them. While I haven't collected their DBZ line, I've only been involved with their One Piece products. It seems that Tsume's larger scale statues suffer from poor packaging issues, which results in a lot of breaks. I’ve purchased six Tsume statues, ALL of them came badly broken. I had four replacements out of the six and they also had breaks. All of which were all brand new. Also, based on the feedback on various groups and forums it doesn’t seem I’m the only one. Interestingly, I've observed fewer breakages and problems with third-party products compared to officially licensed items, despite the significant price difference. It just doesn’t make sense something this big and licensed has such poor engineering and poor accountability. I’m really interested to know if you get a replacement and if they solved the issues. It’s a beautiful piece.

Man I know that feeling. My first resin statue costed about $900 and came in with several broken pieces. It took the studio 2 months to finish the replacement parts. My second resin was almost $700 and one alternative head piece come broken. Luckily, I could choose from 2 different heads and the broken one is currently being replaced. The issue with unlicensed statues is that the studios usually stop offering replacement parts a few months after release. That means, if you didn't snatch the statue right upon release, the chances of getting replacement parts is insanely low.

Oh wow. I figured it would take a long time, but I wasn’t sure how long. That’s kind of why I went away from unlicensed due to not knowing if I could get replacements.

Taking advantage of your comment, knowing that the material is resin, is it worth spending so much money on a resin statue? I'm wanting to buy this Kurama, but when I see that it's made of resin, I'm a little hesitant. What do you think?

@@MarcusVinicius-vl3gs I think it is worth it if you find ones that you really like. About half of my statues have come broken but was able to glue and you can't really tell they are broken. The reason I go with resin is because the studio is more likely to send a replacement and it make me feel more comfortable buying more expensive statues.

That sucks! I guess this statue is prone to having some breaks, but that is good yours wasn’t as bad. I just got info back saying they are working on the replacement so I’m happy about that

They just told me they would get in contact with Hex and would let me know, but that was a long time ago. They did say if Hex wasn’t able to replace, that they would try to get it fixed professionally
